I just successfully used two NW SWU's to upgrade four DL segments.

Wasn't zotz a verb in an old TI-99/4A game (Story Machine)?

Did you match to NW :-:

Yes, they matched me to Plat until Feb 2010.

I can't remember specifically when he was beginning that journey. I am somewhat envious though; I would love to be both employed and traveling, even if it wasn't by air.

I think delta.com is the most :rolleyes:tastic site out there. It just took literally 25 minutes to successfully change my seat assignments after I SWU'd the flights. Total time from deciding on flights to purchase on delta.com, to confirming upgrade availability on EF, to actually getting the purchase confirmed, to calling NW to SWU the flights, to selecting different seats was approximately 1.5 hours. I think my last reward redemption on CO with multiple partner carriers, open jaw, and at about six changes was easier than the purchase and upgrade of this DL ticket.

Until you actually print the BP, right?

No, you can refund most tickets for a 10% surcharge even after you have printed the boarding pass. I have done so dozens of times over the past few years. Some advance purchase promo fares, like the Acela $99 NYC-DC 14-day advance purchase fares, have additional restrictions, however. When in doubt, it is best to call Amtrak before purchasing a ticket.

Perhaps, also a hard candy with fizzy that leaks out once you pop it in your mouth. Cherry, grape and orange. Yum!

ETA: I am thinking NO. I think it needs to be a NW ticket on NW stock, a NW flight operated by NW, but I am not sure.

No.

This is true. One of the great features of the new Diamond tier is, if "Direct Ticketing Charge Waivers" is what I think and hope that it is, we can make all our bookings over the phone with no charge. That means that we will never need to use delta.com again (unless they have a web booking bonus going) except maybe to change seats.

Actually I am road-tripping from ATL to SEA. Currently I am in a 4 points neat St Louis in what has to be the biggest 4 pts room ever. It has to be at least 300-400 sq ft.

Back form the festering pit again, I did not touch a PC in over 28 hours, I think that is a new record!
