I was debating checking a bag for my flight to the Festering Pit on Wednesday but I read that CO will destroy my bag. Once on board, my pants will rip and free drinks will be given away to very deserving folks in Y. At this point, the dude in the safety video will "abandon ship" by resigning 5 months hence. :-:

Don't forget prior to your flight you can use the employee security line and some FA's will happily cut you off in line.

The sad part is that it's in DFW. I would jump on that, but all the work I've done towards teaching would be flushed down the toilet. Now that I'm on a path, I suppose I should stick to it.

Sometimes things happen serendipitously. My "path" was non-traditional but started because I had a teaching license and a strong statistics background.

It is unwise to lump Addie Tomei's operation into speaking ill of Little Italy. She does tours all over the city that highlight a bunch of different stuff, and she is unbelievably kind. I met her at the Park Avenue Cafe when she spoke at the NYC Concierge Association, and her company is a gem.

At least some of the more (in)famous parts of Little Italy still endure. The building that housed John Gotti's headquarters/social club is now a shoe store. :rolleyes: At least it's still there. Someone should do what Addie Tomei does for food and adapt it to famous crimes. That would be an interesting piece of the tourism market. If that guy in North Jersey can do a bus tour around Sopranos shooting locations, why wouldn't an NYC crime tour work?

My path is very nontraditional...the hardest part will be spinning that nontraditionalism into selling points in interviews at the districts that are willing to listen. I get the distinct feeling that the districts that will be willing to listen are those where the cops are outgunned by the students.

Who wants to be on a team when you can be a :-: standing alone. :D

Last night one of my co-workers expressed how nice it was that we all worked well together and jumped in when things got rough without being asked. Guess who wasn't at work last night.....my personal work troll. :D
