I really can't wait for them to begin FFN. I have a lot of plans for it this year and next if their usual T&Cs are unchanged.

Can't believe I went outside The Box on two threads....what was I thinking! :D

For my next brillant move I think I go into OMNI and really stir things up or maybe I should head over to the UA box and yell at some 1K's.;)

I don't like the new Mini's style and proportion. And over priced (in my opinion). What's a JCW?

The JCW is the go fast version.

Run in, shout "Compensation!" and then run out - watch the chaos from a safe distance.

Even with the Keeneland / Woodford Reserve Do, I'm switching between the Hyatt and Hyatt Place ...

As a Hyatt Diamond, I'm hoping for a mid-September start.

Is there such a thing as California-time?

Like, Hawaii has Island-time in which nothing happens until everyone has had a cup of coffee after a good nap and is good and ready. Now in Cali it's not that bad, but I get the distinct impression that it's a midway point between my East coast sensibilities and Island-time.

Regardless, people do seem a bit slower in getting anything done here.

Yep, it exists. One of the west coast plants I support is in the Bay Area, and they're perpetually 15 minutes late to meetings I set up. When they set up their own meetings, they're even later.

It all must be very confusing for you. On the one hand, you have a co-worker telling you you're not a team player, and then a poster telling you you're too much of a team player.:D

+1

Have to go to San Antonio for a day at end of month and looking to have dinner at Pappadeaux. Apparently they have a Hudson Bay Platter (shrimp, scallops, lobster tail, green beans and dirty rice) for a limited time that has my taste buds piqued.

Evening, Box.

Sitting at ORD for my 20:00 flight. Since it's 20:12, and I'm posting from my phone, that means my flight's been delayed. Until 22:30. That means I'll arrive in SGF around 0:00, head to a hotel whose name I can't say (although there are two trees), and wake up at 6:00 for my 7:00a meeting. At least I'll have free booze to look forward to Monday night.

I also love that my -3 hour text message said the flight was on time. I got to the airport at -1.5 hours. Still on time. Get through security, and bam, 2.5 hour delay due to late-arriving inbound.

When I was in SAT last, I only ate at Landry's restaurants (including Chart House). And yes, I did Hyatt hop during FFN.

It's crawfish etouffee or bust for me. Crimony, I'm not hungry at all but my mouth is watering thinking about that.

It pays to check the "where the heck is my plane coming from?" option before leaving the house/office.

Don't feel too bad; after all, you did score some bonus points for the Mitch Hedberg reference. ^

Which UA makes real easy to do.

I was holding out for Quadruple Tree.

I think I still have "Mitch All Together" on my iPod. ^

When I was a boy, I laid in my twin-sized bed and wondered where my brother was.

I once saw a wino eating grapes and I was like, "Dude, you have to wait."
