I was bad and went to visit  too. I'm waiting for the first person over there to misinterpret what I said. Yes I have a response waiting for when it happens.

Bad idea. There's a profound level of  out there.

Yup, but not as bad as I had feared. Tons of slippery slope arguments and logical fallacies.

I'll stick to teh Box.

Is anyone redeeming their free Live Nation concert tickets from SPG?

It looks like they will go to waste for me, but a friend of mine is seriously considering going to see Journey in the Buffalo area.

Amtrak is $57 o/w and an 8 hour ride to Buffalo. DL is $72 o/w and is 1.75 hours, but from JFK.

The concert is on my weekend to work, but I think I may try to go.

Si senor, 1pm Saturday. I know ALCO is coming up Friday night.

I will also be on the same flight as ALCO. I was planning to stay there at the airport and head to DC the next morning. Working on stay credits.

Ugh, last weekend we noticed our AC was really struggling. Last night we discovered water on the floor of the AC closet, leaking into adjacent rooms. Classic sign of a clogged condensation drain pipe. We opened it up last night, and thought we had it cleared, and everything was looking fine today until an hour ago, and then I noticed the water again. Now I'm dealing with a big mess, after opening the case on the AC unit and discovering a nice pool of algae-infested water in the drain pan, as well as a pipe that seems clogged worse than we thought it was. As soon as the rain here dies down a little, I'm off to Lowe's for some PVC parts to put this thing back together. This is not how I wanted to spend Sunday afternoon.

Sorry to hear of your AC problems. Glad you were able to fix it all. I have had the same type of drama in try to sell my house but hopefully as of wednesday it will all be gone.

Their corporate HQ in downtown Austin is quite impressive. I still prefer Central Market though.

There is another non HEB Central Market Outside of Seattle that is really cool!!

If anyone was wondering, I'm pretty much over it

I drove around the area of my new home and found the nearest Best Buy (which is admittedly the devil but there aren't many options since Circuit City closed) and a Pier 1 Imports too.

Ok, so dumb question.. This is my first apartment, always lived in houses, where exactly it outbound mail supposed to go...? Do I need to drive around and find one of those blue boxes? It never occurred to me that inbound/outbound wouldn't be in the same location.

Like others have mentioned usually there is one box wit a slot in it to mail from. Or you could be good Boxer and use the prober outbox at a PC near you! ;) I had three years in a row where I did my Xmas cards in the SAT lounge waiting for a friend to get off work.

My wife had the dog carrier in her lap when we were in the air with the dogs head poking out and the FA scolded her and threatened to have authorities waiting to have her arrested if she didn't put the dog all the way in the carrier and below the seat. He was a complete a$$. I was just shocked at how the FA was talking to us and couldn't even think of anything to say back to him. Luckily, the guy across the isle said he was an attorney for the NTSB and said the FA was out of line and he will file a complaint with CO and recommended we do the same. He gave me his business card and said he would like to keep in touch in regards to CO's response.

I'm not sure if the FA was just having a bad day or what but I have never come across anyone who was such a dick to customers. We didn't do anything to draw attention to ourselves and the dog was surprisingly well behaved during the flight.

Not taking sides but I belive that any cabin animal needs to be in their carrier at all times.

Hey guys -

Lots of things happened to me this last few weeks, which is why I haven't come here much at all. Two funerals (one in Bay Area, one in NYC), one car crash, and one cat scare (thought she was dying, but only bladder infection) later, I am totally exhausted.

Anyways, will head to Japan and Hong Kong tomorrow. See you guys later.

Two photos of my crashed STi, and one for those going to the "Stans"...

Good evening Box.

I'm happy to report that tonight's excitement didn't involve servicemen, trolls (the work one and the Movieman one), or ripped pants.

Our delayed EWR redeye (1829) departed at 1:23am. That's 10 minutes before the crew was going to walk due to duty time. We knew about this since early this evening and had Plan B ready, just in case.

Tonight was good for 45 minutes of overtime. ^
Not getting to bed before 4am....not so good.
