Original flight plans for today: DEN-IAH-LGA, arriving ~11:30 pm. On the way to the airport, I saw that my first leg was delayed - enough that I wouldn't make my connecting flight (which was the last of the day). Rather than taking a chance at spending the night in Houston, I asked the agent at the check-in counter if she could rebook me on another flight. She put me on DEN-EWR nonstop tonight (CO529). Booked into M, which puts me at #1 on the upgrade standby list with F capacity 16, 15 booked, 12 checked in.

The flight is currently delayed 41 mins to a 6:30 pm departure. I assume that my job now is just to go to the gate, continue to hang out, and hope that the GA can work some magic at boarding time?
