Sadly, The Black Labrador will be closing at some point in the undisclosed future. The building they are in was bought by St. Thomas University and will be converted per the school's needs.

I go there a lot because they have decent prices on good beers but the food is downright awful.

That's sad. Their food used to be pretty good (4-5 years ago).

Thanks — but I can just expense a rental car to work if needed too.

I spoke too soon. CO's website bombed out on me with this whole thing and now I'm on the phone. It completed dropped my BTR-IAH segment and now they're telling me that it's impossible to do what I wanted to do. :mad:

Tell them you have Rolle Yes on speed-dial, and can involve him in the resolution of this matter if necessary. That usually speeds things along.

This is really getting frustrating. The website said I could do something, then bombed out and screwed up the reservation completely, and now I'm on hold with CO while the agent talks to a supervisor to figure out how to even fix this. I'm getting told I have a reservation they can't honor now, because I tried to do a routing change :confused:, yet I've done stuff like this before and it was not only legal, but the website worked and did it correctly. This makes no sense at all.

At the very least they owe you reinstatement of your original reservation. If they refuse that, this actually sounds like something that would merit Scott's attention.

Dont forget that you are PLATINUM ELITE.

colpuck Jul 7, 2009 5:37 pm

don't worry I am back on AM now.

it would be really nice if the platinum companion upgrade worked like nw does/did it. Allowing the companion to upgrade at the same time as the elite member for platinums would add a lot of value to the companion upgrade benefit.

i don't mind if they throw a bone to silvers every once in a while, but at least leave one seat open until boarding for either a last minute plat/gold purchase or a plat/gold companion.

:mad::mad::mad:

Now being told that the only thing they can do is leave my ticket as it originally was. Apparently my fare rules don't allow a change to the routing. I can only fly BTR-ATL, no stopover allowed. Had I made the change before flying the first segment it would have been allowed.

colpuck Jul 7, 2009 5:42 pm

hartmann is running a little fare war.
