Welcome back.

Thank you! I've missed the B:rolleyes:X, but am counting the days until my next vacation. I seem to do much better on it. Cousin from OZ is here, so will work less the next three weeks as we have much to see and do.

I figured that perk was for NW elites only... :) Perhaps if there are empty seats up front, they would take pity on a CO elite?

Yes, they will.

Our only challenge is the first one - she is blind now so really limiting where we can live - had to give up a beautiful house with a nice pool b.c we didn't want her wandering in accidentally. Pets are worth it, although there are many that would dispute that.

Pets ARE worth it!

At 2p, another golf comment is made.

At 2:30p, we're out the door. (but the rest of us were in at 5:15a, so we added value :rolleyes).

At 3p, I'm on the 1st tee.

Awesome.™

And, for the first time on a course in a few years, I played surprisingly well.

Don't worry. I've fixed that. I've only flown CO BF once, so it's not a yawn to me. :D

My mom just flew BF for the first time and thought it was great.

BL JR complained on our flight SAV-IAH that we weren't in F, over and over and over. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot have I done????

Annoying children or heavenly beds. Hmmm....

I honestly don't know how much time we're going to spend at the property. I think we'll explore the island and its various beaches / activities.

Trust me you don't want annoying children when you are trying to relax. Trust me - I know first hand.

My cousin from OZ had major US Scare problems. Flight to HHH, no luggage (after flying MEL-SYD-LAX-CLT-HHH) and of course no overnight kit, so went to CVS for necessities. SAV-CLT-IAH - misconnected in CLT, was told no flight until today, but she made standby for the last flight. Of course, stuck in a middle seat by a man that while not large, put up the arm rest, and hogged her seat. I worked on assertiveness training with her today. No room in overhead for her small carry on (but not small enough to go under her seat along with her oversized purse) so it was checked (not gate checked - checked) and was the last one off. VERY concerned about her IAH-PHX-LAX flight prior to her LAX-SYD-MEL flights. Fortunately, we're taking CO to OMA on Fri.

Flight out of SAV for us was probably the worst take off I've ever had. I have CO Express OMA-IAH Sun and may try to change because I'm not sure if I ever want to take an RJ again, despite my stash of drink coupons.

Still debating EWR-MSP-FAI-ANC-MSP-EWR on a mix of CO, NW and AS... Y there () and F on the way home for 37,500 miles and $60 seems like a decent deal.

Schmuck on the 11 o'clock news: "He brought people together with his message and his music."

Really? What was that message? That giving kids Jesus Juice is a good idea?

What has this country become now that the lead story on the news for the last twelve days has been fawning coverage of a child molester? The music doesn't matter as soon as the first kid complains...I guess the media does not agree with me on that point.

I am so sick of listening to the media and fans of his talk about all this nonsense. How can they forget all the weird crap this guy did and all the allegations of child molestation

I was a fan of the guy until he turned white and allegedly touched little boys.

That seems decent especially when you consider the value of redeeming a reward for that distance.

BTW, do you guys know that you can have two domestic maps on FM now (or three if all European, I think). I have set my 2nd one to be China:

Umm, just checked on my profile, and it will only allow me to set one domestic map. Where are you getting that option?

The only downside is that the car rentals and hotels in ANC are a little on the  side...

Are the < 3 day service fees refundable if a reward is canceled?

I've had my best landing on an RJ, and worst :)

best was into IAH, and worst was into RIC from EWR...nasty landing, swayed side to side, jumped off the runway twice :td: I did have one bad mainline landing don't remember the details, and the next worst was a GRK-IAH CoCo flight, several times we hit wheels down only to come up again, but the wind was something fierce, I guess I let that one slide in my mind.

I am not a nervous flyer AT ALL, but all I could think of after our take off is I WILL NEVER FLY an RJ AGAIN! Yet, I'm guessing I will be on Sunday.

I used Hertz points when I was in ANC for a reason. And Hilton points for the top corner room, and hotwired the Sheraton.
