I can bring some pots and pans you can play with in the corner :p

Good night Box....off to watch a movie with Ms. GadFly.

Regretting getting that third cat now?

Maybe a little. But we both fell in love with him, and are determined to be patient and make this work.

After this, no more though. I have a limit of three pets in the house at once.

Eh, it's better than some, but for a lot of my work, a wired connection, or a very, very good Wi-Fi connection, is best. I've got coworkers who've tried the Spring thing and it doesn't work too well for connecting to our VPN and our test database systems, or to our clients' networks for remote access to their systems. A slow-ish wired connection is still preferable in most cases. And work will reimburse for the in-room Internet charges.

Ugh, the CRJsuperstretcharamaonmassivesteroids! It's an improvement over the original, but still leaves much to be desired. Particularly in the lavatory department.

On some airlines, that small storage bin is locked so passengers can't even use it.

I tunnel into my machine from the sprint all the time, so the speeds don't matter that much as it is just remote computing to my hardwired machine :D

Mike and I could have a drumoff. Though I'm a little more fresh than he is, what with having last sat behind a drum kit in 2003. ;)

At one of my plants today with two coworkers and my boss. When she shows up at 10a after driving down from MSN, she comments on how it'd be a nice day for golf.

At 2p, another golf comment is made.

At 2:30p, we're out the door. (but the rest of us were in at 5:15a, so we added value :rolleyes).

At 3p, I'm on the 1st tee.

Awesome.™

And, for the first time on a course in a few years, I played surprisingly well.

I'll bet with enough notice, we could probably get Brituchenite, Olton Hall, and maybe a bunch more NJ/NYC people to come down to Freehold on a Friday night. I would offer to pick up the first round but I know this crowd...I'd need to take out a second mortgage.

As long as I am not working I would be in with enough notice.

Yeah, but we've got a ridiculous amount of hoops to jump through to get there. I've yet to hear anything good about connecting to our networks over Sprint's connection from my coworkers who've tried it.

And, even if it worked really well, the fact of the matter is I can expense the hotel's Internet charges, as well as our home Internet. I can't add on another service and get reimbursed, and given the dead zone I live in for most mobile services, I'm not willing to make a Sprint mobile connection my only Internet connection just so I can get reimbursed.

fully understand, was just saying it works pretty well in many cases :)

Me either. I go to bed twice a day because of my work schedule and stuff I have to do in the mornings. I'm totally confused as to what day it is, let alone what the date is. I work a flight that leaves after midnight so I work today and tomorrow and then return back to work on the same day again, just 18 hours later.
