Oh yea, I got puffed at FLL yesterday. indeed.

I didn't get tail numbers for the box FM, but I got ship #'s if anyone can decode them. :-: 299 and 234. ^

To complete the hat trick, the 'fullsize' I got was a Mitsubishi Galant. More meh than , but it doesn't earn any :-:s.

Interesting. FareCompare Q-UP Search is showing a $729a/i CLT-TUS UA fare. Not as good as the TPA-ONT fare, but I've actually been wanting to visit TUS. I wonder what the routing possibilities are...

Those are still in operation?

At the very least they should have kept the seat that they're using on most domestic F aircraft. Personally, I don't find the seat pitch enough to make a foot rest useful in domestic F. But then, if you're not freakishly tall like me, it's probably more useful. For me, it would just be a pain to deal with.

That one is. I told my wife they were deemed useless and were going to be removed. She :rolleyes:ed.

"Two percent. King of milk."

(Am I the only person out there who thinks that skim milk looks like gray piss dishwater?)

I did try one cup black yesterday and it wasn't awful...but it had been sitting out and was not service-temperature hot. Putting a liquid in the coffee helps me drink it right away. Pour, stir, make a bowl of cereal...and by the time the cereal bowl is done, I have drinkable coffee that isn't a bazillion degrees. The only coffee product I drink that sees any kind of sugar is cappuccino. Can't do sugar in regular normal morning coffee, tried it...no bueno para mi.

I'm the opposite of you when it comes to coffee. Prefer no cream, but some sugar to cut the bitterness. Temperature is no big deal to me, as our coffee maker at home makes it at a temperature that's quite drinkable. I can't stand coffee that's so hot that it immediately burns you (Dunkin, and just about any fast food place).

I second the suggestion for 2% milk.

We have a similar list at home, but it also includes South America, almost all of Asia, parts of Africa, and Hawaii. I'm sure the Caribbean is on there as well. Don't know that he cares about the penguins though.

Mmmm, even better. $690a/i MIA-PDX UA Q-UP.

I haven't seen a puffer in operation at any airport in ages. I had read they were being removed; surprised to hear one is still in use. But then, it's the TSA. They tend to miss their own memos quite often.

The Galant is rather . It's not horrible, but utterly forgettable, and I honestly don't know why anyone would buy one. That's probably why the rental fleets are full of them these days — they aren't selling.

No prenup here. Just an agreement that we will generally take such trips together.

Call me weird, but I hate all milk. Period. Can't drink the stuff. It makes me gag. I only buy milk to use in cooking. I almost had a throw down with a CO flight attendant a couple of months ago who served my cereal on a breakfast flight with the milk already poured into the bowl instead of in the little glass it usually comes in. She couldn't believe I wanted cereal with no milk and gave me a hard time about it. Fortunately the guy in the seat next to me had ordered the cereal as well, and didn't mind the milk already in the bowl, so she gave him my tray and went back to get me another tray. I really didn't appreciate her attitude about it; I have a right to like or dislike any food I want, and eat my cereal dry if I want to. Besides, that's the first time in over 10 years of flying CO F regularly that I've seen the cereal served that way. She was so in the wrong on that.
