Splitting up the two segments of SQ1/SQ2 would be a great trip for me in and of itself. Couple of days pre-TPAC in SFO, couple of days in HKG, couple of days in SIN.

ETA: I have family that splits their year between NJ and BWN. Maybe a visit to them is in order if I'm in that neighborhood.

Apparently my stomach got a little sunburned this weekend.

I feel like I'm pregnant, with a sun.

I tried that one out in the breakroom at work before I posted it here. I received one hearty guffaw, and a few 's.

Figured it was perfect for the Box.

Is SQ16 SIN-ICN-SFO?

That's a fantastic idea. @:-)

In fact, let me book that trip right now. And I'll include 5 days in the Maldives and a short excursion to see Angkor Wat. This will be the best vacation ever. The Canuck will be excited, we'll have a wonderful time.

Nothing could possibly ruin that vacation.

I might aim to circumvent such  by using a combo of NH, OZ, SQ + MH (AFAIK, only MH and some LCC fly to LGK).

No, just normal CO flights on CO metal (EWR-NRT or EWR-PVG in this case) that connect to normal KE flights on KE metal. They show up on nwa.com and can be booked for (I believe) normal rates through NW. However, CO thinks BF is an Awesome product so they charge more miles (160k or 180k total) to redeem CO TPAC with a KE connection. IIRC, CO TPAC connecting to NW in Asia is acceptable at the 120k levels.

I have never been in SIN for more than 2 days though, it is a great city, but after 2 days there is not much to do.

So if they are 77W I couldn't use anyone's but SQ miles? I forget how that works.
