I have taken up boxing (sparing) of late :D My arms have been tired lately, legs burning too, but it is something I can do to get a great workout and enjoy it.

Playing AM hasn't taken too much time of late, my network is so expansive it just  brings in money, I go for several hours and come back with billions to spend. Oh well, wish it were really this easy.

I think SIN is my new favourite city.

A story for jrzyshawn and belynch...

My fiancee (and ICU nurse) told me about a  they had come in to the unit today. The  had a blood alcohol limit 4 times over the legal limit and was grilling at a family function. He apparently blacked out while grilling and face planted in to the grill. She said he had some nice grill lines all across his face, arms and hands.

I have a similar story but it didn't involve alcohol until later. I sat my then one year old daughter on the kitchen counter, telling her not to move while I moved about 4 inches away and had to take my hand off of her. Of course she moved and fell straight onto the tile floor, cheek first. She was fine but she had the best bruise marks courtesy of the grout lines in the tile floor.

G'morning, Box.

It actually was dark out at night for the first time in 2 weeks last night. It never got dark while I was in Scandinavia. That was just plain strange.

Strange but very cool. I really want to go in high summer.

Mornin' box.

How much you think Costner got paid for the Turkish Air spot? It was running on BBC world non-stop on my last trip.

I forget about the delay when mailing in checks. I actually found a work around on that. I find a local bank as a dummy bank to make deposits and use the USAA inter bank transfers to get the money to USAA and use there services for everything else. I was told once that part of the reason for the P&C requirement is that they use the insurance as a means to insure that the bank side of the company gets their money. I will also note that USAA has recently expanded their P&C admission requirements so if you didnt qualify before you might want to recheck. I was literally grandfathered in many years ago and glad I was. :)

I'm not P&C eligible, not by any means. I'd have to move to the Texas county to be eligible which isn't going to happen. I've kept checking sporadically whether they'd enable Deposit@Home for me and keep getting the same boilerplate reply that I'm not eligible so apparently no human decision making is involved, just whatever the computer tells them. On FW they mentioned you needed to have a credit account with them (I do have their CC as a backup card for overseas transactions) plus a checking account but no dice unfortunately.

Gotcha. I completely understand.

I'd love to go back for a quick visit but there isn't a "fast" way of getting there from the US East coast.

Don't have the money for that and no *A miles yet to redeem for something like that. At least not until October and I'm not sure I'd have enough RDMs banked by then.

Don't worry, it is not really available for redemptions using *A miles :-:

Last time I flew to SIN it was in the back of a NW 744 DTW-NRT with an onward NW connection NRT-SIN. At least the connecting flight was on an A330 with AVOD. Getting into my hotel room around 2am was a little disorienting to say the least.

Maybe a CO BF redemption EWR-NRT and then some type of *A business redemption NRT-SIN would be in order..

I am currently at Singapore Changi International Airport awaiting my flight to ICN. At check-in, I was op-upped from C to F on ICN-ORD for no reason. I think it is the really old-style F, however, but I'll take it.

Very true. We cover a relatively large State park and at least once a month over the summer we get a call for "burned feet." People dump their hot coals from their grills out and people just walk right on them. This is a regular occurrence.

Aloha box. Weekend on the dirty island was actually really nice. Even with the Throgs Neck :rolleyes:ery it was still faster than going to the shore. I think we're sold.
