Sure, why not? I am a proud card carrying member of Sephora France (not to be confused with the US Sephora, which of course I am a member of) and was thrilled with all the freebies I got each shopping spree there.

:eek:What a moron!

mnmag, BL JR is a surprisingly good traveler. She is actually amazingly flexible at pretty much everything we do (and she can sleep anywhere a la her mom). She's a good kid - I want to ensure she stays a kid as long as possible. We'll have to come back a bit earlier on our LA trips once school starts (she'll have to be to school at 7:40 vs. 9:00 this past year) so we don't hear complaints of her being tired in school ;)

Plus1 has a very interesting schedule the next week.

Now serving on our deck: fresh mango margaritas. Coming soon: grilled pizzas (as soon as the dough rises).

We have plenty if you're in the area...

Two tickets to the hublet please! :p

Greetings from southwest Canuck land. Great weather, expensive beer, way too relaxing and do I feel fat around these fitness nuts. I suppose I missed much  these past few days?

Also, I am stuffed from eating so many things yesterday -- am sure the appetite will be back tomorrow!;)

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say 'bye' yesterday -- was too panicked to miss the bus for the uptown lift!:rolleyes: I assume you hung out at Ferrara's or thereabouts!

Im stuffed too and the cheese soup in the AA First Lounge at JFK didnt help.

Sorry I dashed out of there so quickly. I caught the subway home from little italy as I figured the traffic around there would be pretty bad. I am still exhausted.

I was the one who witnessed it when I walked back from the snack bar. After telling sbm12 and J.Edward I walked back around and he was on an adult dating website. :o

Ask the PClub agents. They can look that up for you. I understand that we wouldn't recognize most Hollywood types without their makeup on.

Thanks for the tip....I didn't see it until I left the PC but I'll remember it for next time. I actually googled Jennifer Hudson and found a recent picture and it turns out my instincts were right and it was her. She gathered her things and left in a hurry when they announced boarding for EWR - GRU. Can your crystal ball confirm she was on that flight??

Actually, in almost 9 years of having a heavy travel job this is only the second time I've overslept and the first time I've missed a flight because of it. This time wasn't even close....I had set the alarm for 5:15 and woke up at 9:30! When I realized that it was light out, my brain went all wobbly-bonkers trying to piece together what was going on

One word: Airborne! I know they lost the class-action lawsuit that charged they don't actually prevent you from getting sick but I always seem to feel better when I take it right before I think I'm getting a cold.

Feel better! ;)

Sadly I am headed to MCI this week. Joy of joys.

In other news, I hate Amex travel. I canceled a non-refundable ticket within 24 hours of booking so they could void the ticket. They sent me a nice email saying it was canceled, i see it in my cancelled trips, yet they have no record of it. I just sent a paper trail to the manager for them to figure it out.

Glad y'all had fun.

I discovered today that KL flies a M11 from SXM-BON on Thursdays. This seemed like an easy way of getting the M11 and cool way to go between the two islands. Sadly, it appears KL doesn't sell just that segment. When I pull it up in the res systems, it is listed as Canceled. Though, if you buy it AMS-BON it shows up with availability.:mad::mad:

No problem!;) I made my way back to Hoboken to pick up my car -- I just should've parked in the city -- parking ended up costing $30 (13 hrs)!
Live & learn!

Wow, they serve cheese soup at the AA lounge -- interesting!:p

What day are you headed there? I'll be at EWR Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon (maybe Tuesday night if ROC-EWR is anything like MIA-EWR was yesterday )

Baglady darling, love you though I do, I must disagree: Biofreeze smells absolutely horrid. My mother uses it and I dread when she takes it out.

Another battle in the global war on stupidity down, eleventy billion to go.

No upgrades for anyone on the way home...stupid 73G 12-seat cabin.

I will happily book myself to The Hublet for events put together by any of the CLE Boxers. I am supposedly still coming to CLE for the job, and I will advise when I know the dates.

My father came by today and I must say that retirement has helped him tremendously. He is nowhere near as miserable as he used to be and therefore much easier to deal with.

That's FLL digest; night, Box.

I am totally not surprised about BL JR.^It reminds me of my kids when they were young & flexible travelers!

I have an ungodly 6:15am flight on NW tomorrow morning.

I'm being prepped for a problem client which I really hope is anything but.
