There is a propensity in New England to name seafood restaurants "_______ Lobster Pound".

Literally "beads" of pate with a sheep's cheese and a beet vinaigrette.

Chic or not the VS pink brand is not appropriate for 12 yearolds.

Oh, you are sooooooooo right. I cringe when I see little ones wearing provocative clothing.

Thank you! I felt I was losing it!

No, it's not automatic - she needs to 'enroll' her card! Not that I've necessarily looking at getting any 'real' benefits from that status other than accruing more starpoints!:D

Thanks - got her enrolled! I just want her to have more starpoints; she'll already have a suite and club access (on a killer rate I might add!).

Not rubbing it in or anything but it was really good. Cole slaw and fried rings just made it even better.

Yes, it was a lobster pound. Some places may be called a lobster pool.

Took some hunting and my handy "ask a Frenchie" to figure out they mean "Pātes cuites" which is essentially risotto. "Cooked paste" as it were.

So it's a risotto with sheep's cheese and a beet vinaigrette (and there are tomatos, sun dried i suspect, in there as well.)

 -- so she's on her way to getting lot of starpoints -- is she enrolled in the SPG promotion (2 stays/get 1 w/end night free)?! ^I just wish that the free w/end nights expiration was later than Sept. 27!:td:

Don't think I can get up from bed now (have have a fairly busy day already -- chuch, lunch out w/son & brother) -- but so tired!

The guy a row back just said that Joe's Crab Shack is an excellent seafood restaurant. I might need another preboard beverage. These sentences were likely related.

Glad you enjoyed it! When I used to vacation in Maine -- I'd have lobster for breakfast, lunch & dinner!

I always associated lobster pounds with where the fresh lobster is brought in off the lobster boats.

There are many locations where specific food items should be eaten as often as possible - I ate salmon every meal in ANC.
