I averaged 5.5 hrs/day in the car from last Friday through yesterday! I had a a drive between YUL & YYZ (and return), a few shorter trips (2-3 hrs) and LOTS of time stuck in Montreal traffic

Talking about FT on a FD (first date)
You have to ease in to that slowly. You don't want to scare him off. ;)

Mornin', box.

Just got back home from camping out overnight in a field with intermittant torential downpours. Teepee did pretty well, but I would have preferred my own bed. :)

Greetings box (it's mid-afternoon, but I don't kow the french term for that - apres midi?)

Anywho - i'm sick. I held out for 3 weeks surrounded by snuffling and hacking from those around me. Currently it's al in my sinuses and my decongestant and mucinex are holding at fairly well at bay, but others have gotten to a point where there's apparently lots of coughing and pain. Any reccomendations of a version of Delsym cough suppressant I could find in Paris?

Online worlds collide. How funny, I know Peter too.

Morning box. Debating whether or not I should continue work on the retaining wall. It's not raining, but the ground is saturated. I'd like to reclaim my driveway though from all of these masonry supplies.

Welcome back ssullivan. Did you enjoy the trip? Sounds like a great itinerary.

Today's father's day? Thanks for the reminder -- guess it's time to contact parental unit #1.

Happy father's day. Did you get a nice present for your first father's day?

My recommendation would be no. I know it's tempting to get the driveway back but you'll have problems in the long run with the wall because it's going to settle a bit once the water drains from the soil voids.

The best part about being in Paris is that you can go to any pharmacy and have them prescribe something better than any OTC stuff you get in the US. Sorry to hear that you have gotten sick.

I love sitting out on my back porch, relaxing with beverage and looking over the bluff during a fierce rain.

Oh, and if you're curious, our total rental car mileage over the last 14 days — 2,965.

I did 1,500 in two days once, returning the car to the same location. Let's just say the agent was a little confused. And glad to hear that we'll get lots of pictures.

Time to check-out here so I can get lunch / drive to my next Hyatt.
