Wow, pitiful service all around tonight! One or two of these things is nothing to complain about, but with all of this, it seemed more like I was on a US flight than a CO flight…

1. I’d really like it if the FA didn’t say “Eww” and cringe when I asked for my usual Disaronno and Diet Coke!
2. The Diet Coke was well past it’s expiration, or something else funky was going on with both of my drinks (on the second one, I tasted the soda before adding the Disaronno & it was horrible).
3. When I asked for another drink with my meal, I was told, “I have several requests right now. You’ll have to ask me later because I’ll probably forget.” Sure enough, about 5 minutes later, I politely asked for my drink but was told that “I don’t have anymore, and the back is closed out by now.” WTH?
4. It was 1:45 into a 2:45 flight before row 3 on a 733 got their meals! By this time rows 1 & 2 were done eating and didn’t want any of the rolls that were offered.
5. A guy from Y tried to use the F lav. The one FA told him, correctly but sternly, that “You have to use the restrooms in the back.” He said something and was told by the FA, “We’re still serving food up here. You must go to the back.” After walking to the back (and finding them both occupied), he came back to the front and another FA stopped him and told him to go to the back. The passenger complained that, “He couldn’t wait” for them to become available, but was told, “It’s a federal regulation, sir. You cannot use this lavatory.” I’m all for keeping a distinction between the lavs, especially when the FA is still trying to serve food up front. However, there’s no need to lie about it being a federal regulation.

Those are just adorable. She is quite the cutie.

What might have happened with your Diet Coke is that it was from outside the US. Those often taste different. Or your can of Diet Coke had been chilled several times. Unopened cans are used on other flights.

There was nothing worse than catching the red-eye midcon back to IAH, getting in a 6am, for a 8:30am class. Bleh! Don't miss that one bit.
