NZ no longer flies to PPT on their metal, they used to run LAX-PPT on a 763, which was not too bad in coach. Now they codeshare everything with TN, even from AKL.

On the flip side, we also had a great laugh over AirTran's boarding annoucement. They don't board by seats numbers, they board by Joans. I have never heard Zones pronounced quite that way before.

Good thing you didn't 'engage' any of the Ipanema chicks, as they most probably would've been interested in coming home to US w/you!

Hello Box!
Well, I did it - survived my first mileage run! No drama; everything stayed on schedule (actually, that's not true, 3/3 of the domestic legs left late, but luckily I had enough connection time that it wasn't an issue), and it was actually kind of relaxing and fun! I got a lot of work done and possibly slept more than I had in a week.

It looks to me like they are splitting the AKL-PPT traffic with one each:

So I went to split a PNR on co.com and saw this:
Code:
Continental.com mileage bonus for this reservation will only be credited for the original reservation. |

Anyone heard anything more definitive about a 4th tier at DL? There has been speculation off and on but I haven't heard anything more than that. Someone is off in the AmEx forum saying it is all but done and I cannot find anything legit anywhere else. Of course, that shouldn't stop me from starting a thread - "DL rumored to create fourth tier; what will CO's rumored response be?"
The only thing people know for sure is that it is official and the details will be announced in June. Speculation is anywhere from 100K-150K EQMs. |

I think that is for the 500 mile booking bonus. Meaning the first person listed on the original reservation will receive the bonus.

Congratulations belynch on the success of your "Canadian Acquisition."
