fozz what's up with your Padres? The only two 9-3 teams in MLB are both in the same division?

The new stadium is nice. Probably too nice, but the grime will return soon enough, I'm sure. Wheelchair seats turned out to not be a problem, so that's good. Beer is expensive, which is bad but not surprising.

Hey! Are you the guy who knocked the who knocked the ball out of the glove of the CLE right fielder? Did they throw you out?

Can you imagine Tiger with a neon green putter and a pink golf ball trying to get it into the clown's mouth?

I'd buy that on PPV for $19.99 as long as enough of them participated to make it last 2.5 hours :D

I'd be willing to bet in all seriousness that an event planner with the right connections and a partnership with the right charity (Make a Wish, St. Jude, United Way, etc.) could probably sell that. It'd have to be one of the very high-end mini-golf courses that are used for the putt-putt championships on ESPN or something. No caddies, no bags, just the players in player-donor twosomes and at discounted pro-am prices...that would be a huge donation stream. But since it's mini golf, make it all 72 holes in one day. That's how you get it to last 2 1/2 hours.

The Logitech Harmony line of remotes is quite lovely. They are somewhat pricey but they tend to be awesome. Lots of reviews online for each model.

Dude. I figured it would be more like 3-9 at this point. Call me crazy, but I'm really hoping this lasts through the all star break.

How all-in-one are you looking to get? Just the tech hardware or are you looking for the kind of unit that made Ozzy Osbourne scream?

Match play mini golf would be even more brilliant.

Watching ops at MEM, I've seen a lot of DC-10s (FedEx).

Mackieman Apr 19, 2009 3:42 pm

It is currently 90 degrees. It is cooler in AUS than it is here. I am so p!ssed off.

I need to get on MEM-AMS before it goes away.

Make it a Skins game!

I don't want that $1000 deal that's as big as an Acer. :D

The Harmony line looks nice, but there are lots of different model numbers out there. Enough that I wonder if mass places like Target get their own range of devices?

Anybody like anything other than Harmony?

I type corrected. That thread turned out a lot more entertaining than I expected it to.

Nope. We were nowhere near that close to the field.

I still have not seen the replay. They wouldn't show it in the stadium for some reason. The good news is that SportsCenter is starting right now so I should see it soon enough.

Beers were mostly in the $8.50ish range. Best deal in the park is a Miler Light or Bud in a 24 ounce commemorative cup for $10. I have a full beer list in my notes that I'll be posting on my blog tomorrow.

That's the only brand I've ever heard consistently good reviews on. I have a Sony (RM-AV3000) that I hate.

Nicely done. ^^

I really do like the concept.

The 880 model is good enough. Can be had at Amazon for around $130.
