On a plus side, my decision to move to an earlier (but still severely delayed) flight out of IAH this evening paid off as my original flight was canceled!

In other news, after I needed to rally on the 18th hole with an ace for the tie a couple of weekends ago in Ocean City, I have more than made up for my inability to defend a lead. On Long Beach Island tonight, I won by 11 strokes and shot 1 under for the mini-18. We redeemed a free game coupon from last year when I sunk a putt into one of those Plinko-like pegboards that spun a wheel which landed in the right place, and tonight we earned another free game as a result of my patience...we were stuck behind a sixsome of Kettles that did not comprehend dirty looks and tapping feet. It's just like on the real golf course: let faster players go thru. Apparently this group had never heard of that...but in retrospect, I can't complain. Another free round. The Mike and Sarah Summer Mini-Golf Series stands at Mike 1, Sarah 0, one tie. The next tour stop is TBD.

We'll be in EWR on Wed. Not sure of the time yet. we're on CO811 but may try SDC to an earlier flight. -Not sure of which club yet.
