Now that IT got my laptop repaired, I might be on these boards a bit more than once every few days!

Just got it all loaded up into the U-Haul at the storage center in MLU. It was already 94 by 11:00am.

When I got to LAS at ~midnight last night, it was still 92F. It was significantly cooler (and more humid) when I got to IAH at 6AM.

Good morning Box.

Weather in SFO: sunny but cooler with a nice ocean breeze.

Update on son: The ER Doctor called last night. My son's collar bone is broken in 4 places. It must have been one hell of a tackle considering they were in full gear. It has been strongly recommended that he see an orthopod for possible surgery to insert pins. Guess I know what I'm doing Monday morning.

Sorry to hear about your son... hopefully he recovers fully and quickly!

It stopped raining 2 hours ago but my shoes and socks are still soaking wet. On the plus side, the parade was a hit as always. Apparently it is the 2nd largest parade in NYC, behind the thanksgiving one. I'm not sure how that is measured, but that is what I was told today.

You'd even trade me. We have 90, moderate humidity, nice sea breeze, and no T-storms likely to develop over South Florida.

Oh yes I would trade for that. Even keeping the humidity levels the same. +7, +8 degrees makes a difference.

My 89 y/o pt just told me she wanted to take me to a "picture show" when she felt better. :o

Aaaaaah! Cute!

sfogate: sorry to hear about your son. Hope he's not in too much pain. My friend broke his collarbone skiing many years ago. He had to have rods, pins, etc. but it was this really cool external fixture thing It looked like a piece of scaffolding sticking out of his collarbone. He had it on for weeks. But it did the job and was a great chick magnet! In fact, he ended up marrying the girl who took care of him when he was in the hospital!!

They're divorced now, ..... but that's another story!!

Yes! I can't believe that shorly after I posted the sun was out, it started to rain and it's been miserable every since.

It's still raining.

But the weather forecast looks better for next week.

I've got him an appointment with the orthopod on Monday morning. Let's hope that this 4 piece break isn't as bad as it sounds. Not so sure I'd like to see "my baby" with a thing sticking out of his collarbone or sitting in a hospital bed. I know he'd love it.

Did my crystal ball help with that nice sum of money?
Any plans for all of that?

Looking at the house in the background, sounds like a upset soon-to-be-divorced spouse. Or it's stolen.

Seems too good to be true.

sfogate sorry to hear about your son, that's just a bummer.

Now, if I could get some of colpuck's luck with bump vouchers i'll be happy. :)
