Oh  CO wants over $2,000 for a flight I just searched for Friday. I feel I'm being wronged by CO by such a high airfare that includes a Skyteam partner as it is preventing me from taking advantage of the DEQM and preventing me from my goal of reaching Gold Elite Status. What kind of compensation should I demand?

I'm watching "Stripes", one of the greatest, if not worst acted, movies ever.:D

Thanks for the great tip. ^ They have a limited selection of cards, but I found one that will do the job.

Glad they had something that worked!

I would like to head back up to D.C. at some point in the fall (October sounds good). Perhaps :rolleyes:v could join us. With any luck, we'll end up partying with the Attaché to the New Guinean Ambassador. ^

More is , indeed. If CM plays his cards wrong in the Red Light District, he'll understand that soon enough.

This should be the standard compensation for all CO mistakes:

  • An aircraft named after me (and NOT an RJ)
  • A "book the cook" option for me for here-on out so I always have my preferred meal choice (egg of dodo)
  • I get to personally burn all of CO's copies of "Everyone Hates Chris" (it'll be a big fire)

I'd be happy if they just burned Everyone Hates Chris.

I'd be happy to see Ugly Betty go hide under her hair. Saw the same episode 4 times a week or two ago, I forget now :D

I must respectfully disagree. Besides the touristy areas of waikiki and the generally crappy areas of Honolulu proper, Oahu is a great island. Think Kahala.

Kahala: a great neighborhood to grow up in. I lived there for 20 years.

Be like every other man in a house full of women....shut up, stay out of the way and hand out enough money to make everyone happy. ;)

My father use to say the same thing and you're right, the male dog loved us girls. :D

Any feelings about KOA, where I have a two-day stopover during my MR?

It's hot, even for Hawaii standards. Visit the volcano and I can't remember any beaches that are worth wild but I'm sure there must be some black sand beach near by.

(I'm not dead yet)

I'm in intense negotiations with CO on my reparations.
  • So far they are offering to name a Q400 after me, but I will only allow it for the summer (cause the Q400's aren't safe in the winter).
  • They've agreed to the zillion mile status, but I can only redeem these zillion miles on flights on "the bus".
  • Apparently they've signed a deal with devil in regards to the Everyone Hates Chris tapes. They are impervious to fire, so no dice on that demand.
  • As per :rolleyes:v's suggestion, they brought in Shipley and Box o Joe into the negotiations. Offering the "employee discount" wasn't going to cut it with me.

It's tense folks. Off to Pappadeux's to regroup. And by regroup I mean, get drunk.

SO, we'll probably go visit him for Mother's Day next year. He'll be thrilled, I'm sure;)

Happy Mother's Day to you. I'm currently hiding out in the office to avoid the teens and two silly looking dogs (mine is in a dress  and the other one is so fat he waddles). Dinner is pizza tonight. No plans for brunch or dinner tomorrow, as I will be working.

I miss those little kid gifts though. The painted rocks, the silly hats they made and all those other things I use to really roll my eyes at before I had my children.
