Mornin' box.

Apparently Claudio is hard at work. EWR-GRU fares dropped below $500 last night on DL.

Hmmm....very tempting, though I am not sure hanging out in GRU is my cup o' tea.

I had that very thought as I was typing that post...

I found 2 BF saver-pass seats to HNL this summer. Never been to Hawaii (generally like to do less pedestrian vacations).

... do I pull the trigger vs. France/Croatia? (I need to conserve miles for the honeymoon to SEZ / MLE is out of the question.

Why? GRU is a great city - great food, generally friendly people, relatively inexpensive . . . .

Anyone else having trouble getting to the AM homepage? Or maybe the IT dept has gotten wise to me.

I have been to Hawaii several times and really enjoy it. Nevertheless, I would probably choose France/Croatia. It depends, of course, on what you want to do.

What took SEZ/MLE off the table?

sdm1130 Jun 18, 2009 9:09 am

Apparently the pilot of CO61 (BRU-EWR) has died in flight.

So sad...

I always find Hawaii to be extremely relaxing. There are some tourist attractions to hit but otherwise you're there to kick back on the beach.

GIG was a lot of fun and CO 1E spoke very highly of GRU, so I would definitely give it a visit. Plus more lines in the southern hemisphere. :D

Hvar, Croatia is at the top of my list of places to visit.
