Again, very sad news.

Wow, that is very sad. :(

This headline... uggh. I'm hopeful the landing is uneventful.

Side note: I doubt the plane is an EMB-145 like the one in the pic... but I could be wrong... ;)

Mileage and cash conservation so I can do something super-nice for the honeymoon. I don't want to go into credit card debit either.

If the shop :rolleyes:P miles would ever post I'm sitting on about 350k miles. I accrue about 150k/year. Although my international travel has fallen off a cliff this year due to budgets.

I'm in project limbo right now and the one I'm pushing for (and think I'll get) will have me going back and forth to SMF then ABQ probably through the end of the year. But, it's all up in the (no pun intended) air.

Looks like the USA will get beat by Brazil. 3-0 right now. Why does the USA consistently underachieve? Maybe new uniforms will help.

Have I ever mentioned how painful it is to watch cable news? CNN went right to Twitter to get reactions on the death of the CO61 pilot.

It seems their success with covering Iran with the internet due to the reporter restrictions gives them the freedom to do it for all news now.

CNN is already talking about how just a few years ago this pilot would have been "banned from flying because of his age".

So how long before they twist the story to include Colgan?

I watched a bit of the Senate hearings about that this morning. Talk about a pile of

And a local NYC station is reporting that a passenger is helping fly the plane...

Depending on what you want to do and where you stay, Hawaii could end up being less expensive than France/Croatia this summer. It is possible to find nice beachfront condos for $1000-ish/week on most of the islands, which is less than what you would spend on a hotel. That is what I have done on my Hawaii visits. Food is not ridiculously expensive unless you seek out expensive restaurants each day.
