The Penalty Box Pot Luck Do/Meet/Thing will have to be hosted at the Boxer's home with the most expansive kitchen and/or the largest dishwasher.

That's why you eat it anyway, and then post in the Flatulence thread when you fly home from the Do at which you eat it.

Trust me when I say I should never eat this stuff unless I am alone and want to peel wallpaper off the walls. If I flew they would be diverting the plane immediately. :D

All the Hawaiian Islands are different. It just depends on why you are there as to which ones would be best for you.

There are just so many days that you can lay out on the beach before you burn yourself or go nuts without anything to do.

I like the Big Island because of the volcano and that both sides, Hilo and Kona, are so different. I also love Waikiki just because it's such a tourist trap. And seeing Diamond Head is just so Hawaii. Maui is nice to relax in and Lahina is a cute little town that has become touristy. I prefer Kanapali myself over Wailea.

I usually base myself in Kahala and make day or overnight trips to other islands.

What would the consensus recommendation be for some tourism (Pearl/Arizona for me without question) and golf, with the obligatory coffee plantation visit?

I just spoke with Andrew Napolitano at the WAS ClubAcela :D

Hmm, may need to venture over to Hyatt land. I'm thinking PH Zurich might be nice for Labor Day

I'm already booked at PH Zurich for my birthday (Labor Day weekend), abusing the DL mistake fare that now seems to have been simply the opening salvo in the battle for ZRH. This weekend's stays (about $280 total) get me out of the house and more than replenish those points while providing me free breakfasts, recreation centers, a far better TV, a suitcase of Portico toiletries, a few packs of tea, etc.

PH Zurich is currently pricing about $540 USD per night (before tax).

You're not yet convincing me that this is a bad idea.

I was too busy diving.

+1! I'm not the best cook in the world (although, I'm learning) but I love drinking wine and eating good food.

Perhaps we could do it at some sort of cooking school in a fun destination.

Hmmmm. I know a great place in Las Vegas that could host. Perhaps I need to look at something??

I'm game for food and gaming (schedule permitting). For anyone in the Box in LAS between 30 June and 5 July, I'm also up for impromptu get-togethers.

Great Idea.

That rules out my house.

I didn't have time to do it. It's a half a day type of visit from what I hear.

Which would you choose - NW 332 or 744 in J?

I would opt for the 332; if you go with the 744 option, I would suggest the upper deck.

CO 1E Jun 18, 2009 1:32 pm

Either is good. I like 73AB on the 744. If there were no upper deck seats, I might be more inclined to take the 332.
