All the Hawaiian Islands are different. It just depends on why you are there as to which ones would be best for you.
There are just so many days that you can lay out on the beach before you burn yourself or go nuts without anything to do. I like the Big Island because of the volcano and that both sides, Hilo and Kona, are so different. I also love Waikiki just because it's such a tourist trap. And seeing Diamond Head is just so Hawaii. Maui is nice to relax in and Lahina is a cute little town that has become touristy. I prefer Kanapali myself over Wailea. |
What would the consensus recommendation be for some tourism (Pearl/Arizona for me without question) and golf, with the obligatory coffee plantation visit?

Either is good. I like 73AB on the 744. If there were no upper deck seats, I might be more inclined to take the 332.
