I would just ask them and tell them you're willing to volunteer.

Thanks, Hartmann. I'll offer to volunteer if they need someone.

The sky is looking very cloudy and grey at IAH. Wonder if weather will become a problem as the day goes on?

So far, it's seems to be on schedule. i've been looking on seat counter for the flights out the rest of the day. Several are zero'd out. the 7:05pm flight has lots of Y availability. I think I'll stick with my flight. In First! Home by 4pm.

Slight news flash - i got the final formal admission to the university that made the big money stipend offer. After weeks of fighting over "final" transcripts and all the other drama, i'm getting my money and a good school. Whoo hoo!

Firefox renders FT quite nicely.

Congrats!!!

I got an email from a client that I did contract work for saying that the company I was subbed out from did the install wrong and did I know anything about it. I've managed to wrangle that into a return to that office as an independent contractor with an opportunity to pick up some business on that front.

The forecast for Houston is dry and hot, hot and dry, and more dry and hot - except for  levels of humidity. This forecast can be repeated through the weekend.

Welcome to the Festering Pit. Enjoy your stay. It will be like this until October, at the very least.
