We are nearing the point of no return for Zurich. Was there anyone else who purchased tickets for 18-SEP to 20-SEP?

Sounds like a very cool party! One of my friends who has a daughter a couple days younger than BL JR was saying she may do a princess/dress up/tea party. I said that was a great idea, but wouldn't work for BL JR since so many of her friends were boys. I'm thinking their parents wouldn't appreciate me putting them in boas and make up ;)

I think a tour of CO's baggage services could be a hit :D

Welcome back.

There's always 3 foot piles of work on my desk. Usually more than one. HR walks by and just shakes their heads.

Sometimes HR is my most  nemesis, always wanting reports, job description updates, more and more .

CM, did you just give airline death bonus on AMv2? I had just made a nice purchase and was low on cash all of a sudden a large amount entered my bank.....or maybe I am just crazy and thought I spent it all.

The PHL mini-mini-mini DO is over.

Pleasure meeting CO 1E and CM.

In other news, I have a weird craving for a car bomb.

Your husband. I am so sick of the whole J & K dog & pony show:rolleyes: -- I used to watch b/c the kids are so cute. But now it's just torturous -- like saying 'please keep poking me with a knife' I hope she finds happiness & solace in her life somehow.

 Much worse than affecting their 401k!

Their 401Ks are probably affected already -- lots of companies have cut back/cut out matching contributions. Poor things -- I'm sure that's why they chose to work for a beer company to begin with!;)

The war crimes that were being discussed were the murders of civilians and prisoners of war and their subsequent mass grave burial at el-Arish. What was particularly nauseating was Israel's steadfast refusal until late in the Carter administration to pay settlements to the victims' families or to compensate the US Navy for their destroyed ship. The fact that the US even did get money from Israel ended up being a buried news item, because the same day that Israel agreed to a greatly reduced payout was the day that the Iranian Embassy was stormed.

Devil's Advocate - if they wanted to get rid of the information, just strafing the ship wouldn't do the job; they'd need to put the ship entirely out of commission.

Belynch beat me to the punch - good time had by all. I would have been first to post but I misplaced my car and spent a good 20 minutes :rolleyes:ing around Filbert Street looking for the entrance I had used. Maggiano's was better than the last time - ^ to that.

They did not do a normal strafe job. There were multiple passes by multiple jets, and later some backup arrived with napalm. Radio recordings caught IAF pilots wishing that they had hard bombs in their weapons mix, and survivors tell the tale of being strafed upon. The intent was to sink the ship and murder the crew.

When the clock strikes midnight, we're definite for 12/30-1/4. :)

We're on the direct flights to/from JFK so, IIRC, we'll see you on the way there but not on the return if you're going through CDG.

Cool! We'll be there from 12/26-1/2. We're on the nonstop over but a connection in CDG on the way back.
