I could be completely wrong on this, but didn't OK announce they are dropping all long-haul flying?

My PRG-JFK flight occurs before they terminate the route. They just unilaterally cancelled a ticketed and confirmed flight reservation for a flight that is still scheduled without notice. :td:

Have I shared with you my TG story?

Oh, yes. However, IIRC, that flight was actually cancelled for the date you wished to travel, correct? OK 50 is still being operated on the date I intend to fly. Not that it really matters... you totally got hosed on that TG deal.

Morning, Box. (It's still justs morning here in SAT).

Wow! the Box has been busy today.

He said he would e-mail me when he knows when his next overnight layover out here is scheduled. I imagine that there would be folks interested in such an event!:-:

Ditto. I read a book, enjoy it and then completely forget it! At least I can go back and re-read them and enjoy them again!

Welcome, Snod08!. I'm at work too! :( Would rather be out in the sunshine enjoying myself instead of trying to make my brain work.

I looooove Texas. I'd kill to move down there. Sigh! MrBrit's feet are firmly cemented in Manhattan and he's not interested in moving to TX. :(

I just signed up for it last week. Agree on the number selection. I was trying different combinations that included "kingalien" there but no go. Finally I just listed an area code and scrolled through their list of available numbers until I found one I liked.

Unless the loads are so  they are pushing people off the flights to limit liability. Very TG-esque. OK might actually be doing you a gigantic favor.

I wouldn't be fighting too hard to stay on OK. My magic 8 ball says "stuck in JFK dealing with obstinate Swissport employee" if you go on this, literal, route.

I don't have that one yet. :(

TVL and PSH are working pretty well though. ^

Willing to do it to keep the A310.

Tammy Faye (Bakker) Meissner. Infamous swindler televangelist's ex-wife. She was the living dead at that point...she did Larry King that night and died the next day.

I got 218-20WANDER. I was pretty happy with that, even though it meant adding an extra digit to the number.

Duluth, Minnesota - nice! :) My GV area code comes from Akron, Ohio.

I wish iPrint would allow you to use letters in the phone number on the free business cards...

I figured that was a motivating factor.

Funny, when I was batting around doing Croatia this summer, OK was the best option. I ended up axing it because of the a310 and their tremendous unreliability due to their age. They are so old their flight manuals are written in cuneiform.

If I'm going to drop that many miles on a flight I want to enjoy it. I was having visions of flying US PHL - ATH in  class.

Since I was traveling beyond PRG (although I was probably going to build a couple day stop there) I was worried a fouled-up flight would sufficiently torpedo the trip.

DL91 was operated with a 772ER today. They better not do a last minute swap on our 77L...
