Indeed. I've now discovered that FI has cheap one-ways ex-Scandinavia. Then there's always the oddball Europe-US flights on airlines like KU, 9W, AI, etc...

I've heard reports that the AI flights ex-LON are interesting.

That's about what it usually is. Not great, not bad.

Meh. It's Manhattan. I'd say 30 minutes as you'll be going against the flow. But, you never know. The RFK/Triboro or whatever could catch on fire or something.

When I fly out of LGA I'm either 2 hours early or 2 hours late. I can never hit the 1 hour before just right. What's sad about this is that my office is only 20 minutes (w/out traffic) away.

Cue the Richard Strauss music…

I never understood the term “evangelist” in its contextual use on FlyerTalk. The marketing people talk about “brand evangelists”, and of course there is the original Fab Four: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. (:p)

I don’t have a marketing background. I’m generally not a fan of religion. That leaves me wishing for a different word.

“Evangelism” is, by dictionary definition, the act of a Christian explaining their beliefs to a non-Christian. The Greek word translates to “I bring a message.” The message that I have brought in my 10,000 posts is clear: I have spread the gospel of The Box and of , along with humor, sarcasm, and genuine help wherever possible. I pray to Joe Pesci that I have done this in a way that meets with the approval of the peers and friends I have gained thru my participation here. To any enemies I’ve made or those who would wish ill upon me, I have this to say:

While sometimes I write posts that make me look like I’m doing:

I try not to come across as such all the time.

And I would certainly like to believe that my name cannot be substituted for the one in this cartoon:

I have never, that I know of, been reduced to

…because of FlyerTalk. I’ve never been that drunk in anyone’s presence.

I look forward to many more Do/Meet/Thing appearances and coordinations, along with hopefully a reason in life to fly as much as some of y’all do. You only get one shot on this planet, and if my map ends up looking like some of the ones in The Box by the end, I’ll leave this circus as pleased as possible.

I only ask that The Box as a collective entity never let me wake up to anything resembling this:

Here’s to another 10K. Bottoms up. ^

72.21% of my participation on FT has been in Teh Box. Best wishes for that percentage being the same or higher going forward.

But, what if I don't like Richard Strauss?

Nice, Mike. ^

I'd say thats about average...DL had it for $148 a/i last week and AA had it for $198 a/i a few weeks ago but CO is pretty consistant with $228-$318.

No, but that reminds me, I'll be doing the PC tour the next few weeks if any Boxers are around (I always seem to miss the IAH crowd by a couple hours).

The schedule is:

8/10
LGA PC 4p - 5p
IAH PC (not sure which one) 815 - 9p

8/13

IAH PC (not sure) 1145a - 1p

8/15 (can't guest will be with Canuck)
EWR C 530a - 630a
CLE (first time in the hublet on CO :-:) 750a-830a
IAH (who knows) 1030a -1115a

8/27 (can't guest)
IAH 925a - 1030a

Hey, I will be at EWR C on 8/15 -- around that time -- am going to DEN that day. Most likely at the C74 PC. (I can guest, as it's only me).
