I weigh myself every day after the gym / before dinner - down five pounds since the beginning of the week.:eek::confused:

Dinner tonight will be water (currently), salmon, broccoli, grilled pineapple, piece of coconut cake, and a beer.

There are a few nice non-smoking pool halls in SLC where one can get a presentable draught with food - the one I went to most often was on E 400 S.

SLC? I've been to the Dead Goat Saloon a few times...

These DL/NW fares between IAH/HOU and EWR/LGA/JFK are quite nice. It's rare that you see EWR-IAH for just over $200...

icurhere2 Jul 30, 2009 6:45 pm

I would have to pay more than that to either HOU or NYC from BNA ...

In other news, I made it to SLC, as there were no SPG properties in NE I stayed at the "Hotwire 3 star" in Kearney, NE.
6. In lieu of paying for the Sheraton's wireless I am stealing it from the Marriott

What property did you end up with? I didn't realize there were any 3 star hotels in EAR :D

^ to #6!

A few weeks ago, my friend got an EWR-IAH weekend fare for 228 or 238++. So now she's coming to visit for a few days :)

Hmmm looks like Labor Day in NYC may be an option.

Do upgrades, companion upgrades, and exit rows work on NW the same way they do on CO (split PNR)?

I went to a Thai restaurant last night. Three of us had six dishes . Weighed myself this morning and gained 3.5 lbs compared with same time yesterday morning :(.

Yes, they do. You are only eligible for upgrades on the NW ticketed and operated flights.

I'm looking at EWR-MEM-IAH-ATL-EWR for the IAH mini-DO in October. Only 1 upgrade eligible flight, but 1 new dot and 3 new lines for about $220. ^

I doubt you gained 3.5 actual lbs. If you did, that really was quite a dinner!

I've seen AUS-NYC for $198++ in the last few weeks. Haven't jumped on any due to the "vacation situation" but hoping they will still be around for the NYC mini-do.

I really wish CO would match this for early 2010. We have 4 weddings on different weekends in Houston that we have to go to and paying $250 each on DL vs. $350 on CO is the deal breaker.:mad::mad: The only thing is, I have about a grand in CO and AA vouchers and ZERO in DL.

If it really was 3.5 lbs, he would have exploded with the mint. ;)
