That sounds very tempting, actually. Although not as good as UA F, US F is fine for a one-off BD mileage run at that earnings rate. It's a bit better if you end up on an aircraft with reconditioned F seats.

Yes, but that fare isn't around anymore. Also, given that the inflationary pressure on SkyMiles must closely resemble that of $ZWD, I would be concerned that a simple BNA-ATL in Y might go for about 150,000mi in the near future.
On a sad note - BNA-ATL is frequently over $1 per flight mile. And the expanded Y availability as an elite has looked great on routes I would actually consider flying. |

734s on the flights to/from MIA, 320s to/from PDX, and 321s on intra-hub.

On what site did you find that routing? I may have to check some dates...
Didn't even have to do Multi-City. Code:

I'm a bit flexible in my travels - I did US to Europe in WBC, open jaw, L'Espace Europe to WAS, stopover and co-terminal, domestic F home to BNA for 95,000 miles.

If it extends into December I'll be all over it. I'm going to FLL for a wedding anyways. And seeing that the 321s are on the intra-hub flights isn't so bad. I like those birds in F, actually.

I suspect the fare will extend beyond Sept. 7. However, US simply hasn't loaded its next batch of Q-UPs into the GDS. They have a ton of Q-UPs that all expire on Sept. 7 at the moment.

That would make a great MR.....living near PBI makes this fare even more juicy.
US in FC is okay as the seat is fairly comfy especially if it has been reconditioned and the booze is free. Dan |

It is tempting but I don't have status with BD (I wonder what a CO Gold would match to) so I wouldn't earn 600% :(

What is L'Espace Europe? Are you talking about AF L'Espace Affaires?

The 25% Gold bonus is only destination miles, right? So this routing would yield 22,593 status miles and 28,241 destination miles?

Of course, I need 24,834 status miles to requalify for Gold so I would be just a little short. Nothing a quick trip on UA couldn't take care of...
Please do let us know if you see this extended past Sept 7. I'll be on the look out as well. |
