I think my analysis is fair, too. It will be interesting to see what comes of the call. And most of it is based off their website. There are some assumptions I've made in terms of the linear scalability of the redemptions but otherwise it is all their data.

I was wrong. So wrong it hurts. It isn't a linear redemption at all. I still have to run the numbers again but it isn't realy as bad as I thought it would be. Things actually just got interesting.

Hilarious. ^ And so true. As long as they're not bubbleheads, the hotties pretty much have a job nailed down when they're done.

They did for a short time have a lurker in that forum that did not have the official blessing of B6. She was very nice, but incredibly vague...and she only lasted for 20-some posts, almost all of them in a single TrueBlue v2.0 speculation thread. There are several great B6 employees that post over there, but they are lacking the Scott-esque style of interaction that we have here.

As part of the call I did suggest that they consider an official presence, and volunteered to take on that role in exchange for a flight pass. That lurker was not official and it is no surprise that she drifted back into the shadows.

I know this is probably shocking for the Box but I haven't had a cup of coffee all week. Due to a little stomach bug its been nothing but Tea for me.

My favorites are the Blueberry Cake and Bavarian Creme. Chocolate cake is not bad, either.

A TRIP TO COSTCO

Yesterday I was at my local COSTCO buying a large bag of Purina dog
chow for my loyal pet, Biscuit, the Wonder Dog and was in the checkout
line when woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

What did she think I had, an elephant? So since I'm retired and have
little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was
starting the Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't,
because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50
pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out
of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that
it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply
eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally
complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to
mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with
my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because
the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff
an Irish Setter's a$s and a car hit us both.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was
laughing so hard.

Costco won't let me shop there anymore.

I don’t know why, but I prefer the port side for some reason.

The seats in row 1 seemed a bit two close to the galley and lav action. I prefer a bit of a buffer in herrinbone-configured J class cabins. At some point, I will post some photos on flickr that show those seats, and you can decide for yourself.

Last night was the Ecuador one - however, this was still an instance of a "person doing a stupid thing getting caught"; she was smuggling drugs for someone under the premise/"awareness" that she was carrying other items which also were illegal (but apparently less so in her mind).

Sounds like WN is making a bid for F9 in bankruptcy court... This will make things interesting in DEN - especially for UA.

Since WN has always made it clear that they are a Boeing only shop, I wonder if we will see some A318/319/320s on the market...

icurhere2 Jul 30, 2009 11:11 am

Not to jump on the AP or anything, but how does someone enter a plea of not guilty before being indicted by the grand jury?

rolov Jul 30, 2009 11:16 am

My head is spinning out of control today, too much going on and I can't keep up with the box.

They had better up their minimum bid of $113.6 million - Republic is a major debt-holder ...

That is pee in the pants funny. I laughed so hard out loud that the cat jumped off the desk.
