Nebraska and Alaska are considering secession. Let's see if that gets Obama's attention.

Speaking of people looking awful, anyone seen the photos of K-fed recently? |

I'd say, let's send United States troops after them and attack 'em. I'm American, period. Even good ol' Gov. Perry of Texas talked about secession. If you don't like Obama, you should have voted for the other guy. If the other guy wasn't good enough... well, that's your own damn fault for nominating him.
I'm getting too OMNI here. When states talk secession, it boils my blood. Why don't they become the province of Quebec, Canada? They want to secede as well. [/rant off] Perry's words were twisted when he brought it up and of course the media flocked to it. Though I still can't wait till he's out of office. Without drifting too far into OMNI-land I think that states rights is a good thing and we need to be careful when we drift too far into federal control. They can't get the post office right (something I consider macro and easily replicated across states), how do we expect them to get the micro things right that may differ from state to state? I don't think the only reason I should live somewhere is the weather and certain types of natural disasters. |

I guess the noise issue varies by property...the only one I've seen so far is at PHL and while, sure, the lobby is club-esque, I couldn't hear a bit of it from my room. Then again, a) I can sleep through ANYTHING and b) I like the aloft/W vibe. Particularly if the alternative (in same category/price) is a generic Sheraton, as it often is at airports...
The PDX aloft has a happy hour and the music was blaring when we walked in and people were on the patio outside (along with music) and that's what she didn't like. |
OMNI ALERT OMNI ALERT OMNI ALERT.
Morning Box. |
I am currently trying to work in the DCA Box Do but it is still a little up in the air for me currently.
I grabbed a room at the Washington Marriott (1221 22nd St. NW), but I am open to moving to Crystand City if that is where the group is staying. As to the Air and Space Museum, the Udvar-Hazy Center is IMHO far superior to the Air and Space on the Mall. Dan |

I know all the Lasik Plus doctors on the east coast very well in addition to quite a few others in the company (I serve as their clinical rep and trained most of their technicians). I posted further up in the box about Lasik....if you do a search, you should be able to find it. Let me know via PM if you have any questions about it and we can talk.
