If no one else is in the airport, I'll probably hop between lounges and graze (no cost option).

The Sky Club in E that was the former Business Elite lounge has a pretty decent spread out in the mid/late afternoon hours. You can easily make a meal out of it, including dessert.

I have been known to pick up sushi at the supermkt & bring it on the plane -- usually to lots of stares!

Including from me - supermarket to airport to wait in terminal to boarding to push-back and takeoff; my internal clock immediately thought "there's about an hour too long for me to be still thinking sushi".*

* Although I do love sushi, including an unnatural craving for unagi.

That was my unwritten goal if I had to SC graze, actually :D Don't handle the mice in A17 well, A Centerpoint is often too crowded, etc.

Has anyone tried any of the new food options in IAH C? There's the wine place that's been open a few months, and then in the old C South food court area that's been boarded up for months, there's a new place that looks really interesting called The Real Food Company. It appears to offer quite a wide selection of things, and is a very attractive looking space (as is the new wine bar place around the corner). I'm curious as to how the food is, but aesthetically, it's a HUGE improvement over the fast food crap that used to be in that space.

I've yet to see any sign of mice or anything that bothered me about A17. My only complaint about that lounge is that it's often packed.

To me the disgusting lounges are the ones in B. Those are really bad.

When on B, I used to go to the Regus store for a free cubicle with computer, door, and calling but that doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

It's still preseason, no worries. Only the first Devil game of five and the second of five for the Rags. Devils won in a shootout. :D:D:D

I'd love to go to a Rangers/Devils game no matter which arena it's at. Any chance on a NY vs NJ mini-do for that???

No problemo. I don't need everyone to give me credit.....it's not like it was a big salad! :p

The sushi I take on a flight is not the raw fish type -- interesting that you mention unagi -- that's exactly what I bring -- as it is cooked!^ My favorite!! However, I would not be opposed to bring a l'il cooler bag w/a mini icepak! But it may not even be possible to get through TSA w/that, these days!
I love rainbow roll, among others!

I have had 4 15 min naps throughout the night, now waiting on a call from UPS whom I am livid with, they have a lazy bum of a driver that has 15 boxes to deliver to me and keeps saying wrong address, but another driver got 4 from the same order to me!

BOOO to liars! (one UPS driver that is)

Times like these I usually just go down to the local UPS depot and pick the stuff up myself. Less silliness that way.
