Thank you. :D
I am indeed happy that my twisted sense of humor and complete lack of tolerance for stupidity bring joy to others. It's tough being an 'intellectual elitist', eh?!:D But someone has to do it!;) It used to be on about an 18-month cycle, IIRC. Larry said that Do IV would be the last big IAH Do. He was saddened that there was a need to turn people away. While I totally see his point, I was much more saddened by the fact that there were IAH locals who no-showed. Any CO Do in the future, assuming Jeff continues doing them, are going to be more regionalized - smaller scale at the other hubs.

As am I - the problem is what happens to the dishwater that can't drain ...
Oh yeah, I forgot about that! I was thinking that you'd just be so blissed out w/the confection, that you would be able to wash dishes!:D I would be willing to pay my freight for industry-sponsored events like CO Do IV but alas. OK, I'm clearly over-tired & getting silly, here! :p Night, all! |
Night, Box. Rather than read, I'm listening to Ron White and using his outlook on life to calm myself down.

Need to get some sleep as well. Have to get up early to shower at the gym at work ...

If anyone will be in ATL Saturday (noon until 3), I can guest into SkyClub, Regus booth, or meet for lunch at the mythical One Flew South.

Just had dinner there Monday night. It's very good, as far as airport food goes.

As would I. If I was in a better financial situation, I would have booked the tickets to Austin for the :-:Wood Do already. I'm not a :-:Wood guy, but it's hard to pass up a good fare, good times, and good food/booze/people.
Yeah -- not asleep yet, but saw this -- you might mistake for 'fake' news, but...: :confused: http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/20...writer_in.html |

It definitely makes up for some of the total suckage of the food options in the other terminals.

You got that right. I used to end up at TGIFridays a lot there - although I love Popeye's, a few too many friends didn't tolerate the food from the ATL locations very well.
I've found the best food options at that airport are in Concourse E, and even there, it's not always all that great. |

If no one else is in the airport, I'll probably hop between lounges and graze (no cost option).
I have been known to pick up sushi at the supermkt & bring it on the plane -- usually to lots of stares! |
