Is it a bit character, or does he pop up several times?

Several times. The author came up with plenty of zany problems for me to deal with and indulged a fantasy of mine that I could have never gotten away with in the real world. Said author hardly knew anything about AC before she came to see me, so I can also spot references to the notes she was taking when she and I were talking. Pretty cool overall - I finished the book a little bit ago, and it's certainly a worthy addition to the Hardy collection.

Anyone have an idea of how full the SQ flights are going out on IAH-DME?

Last I read, the IAH-DME legs were not that full - 60%ish, I think. DME-SIN is much busier.

A Seinfeld semi-reunion?! YES!

Does anyone have any experience with the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel? At 3,000 points a night it seems like a steal.

Morning, Box. Finally got around to reading the Hardy Boys book in which I'm a character.

Ooookay. I'm not going to go back through 8000 pages to find the original reference for this one.

Would you forebear a brief context briefing, sir?

Be careful of the fare class you book on that flight. The Flexi-Saver fare (About $740a/i) earns miles on SQ and other :-: carriers. The cheapest option (the $6XX fare) does not earn miles. I suspect it won't earn miles on CO, either (much like the KL V fare...).

I am thinking I may do this flight. Need to find out if a Russian Visa is necessary for transit in DME that involves connecting to a flight that goes through KBP. IIRC, some of the flights to former Soviet states depart from an area that requires at least a Transit Visa...

I am almost positive that any flight connecting via Minsk requires the Transit Visa.

I'm considering just getting the Russian Visa to be able to connect via Minsk (Belavia) and Kaliningrad (KD Avia).

So a visa would be required.

Ukraine is not part of the CIS, so you should not need a transit visa ... unless you're doing the DME-SVO shuffle.
