all of the pictures show a slight angle at the head and feet - perhaps it's just the pictures.

You're not wrong. The seat looks like it does go to 180, but it looks like the cushioning that they put in the seat has a contour to it.

Happy Anniversary to Me

23 years ago I began my career at Continental Airlines in Honolulu. I have also worked in DCA and currently I'm at SFO. It's been quite a ride and one that I have totally enjoyed.

Congrats and hopefully you have many more enjoyable years!

No, I will be flying to IAH for training on CO430. I will be attending the Baggage Service (BS) training for 3 days in IAH.

When are you in town? My wife & I (and I'm sure other Houstonians) would be happy to go for dinner or a drink if you have time while you're here?

Thoughts on the new US Envoy "Suite?" It looks pretty nice (and similar to CO's with the cubby for the feet) though I have no idea why they're calling it a suite. Layout is 1-2-1 on the 330s, but more rows so they don't lose any seats in the cabin.

Looking at their website it looks like the seat pan can tip so that you have a nice cradle position for being away. When I compare it to the CO website for the new BF, it doesn't look like their seat can cradle, which kinda sucks.

Another reason to give US a :-:. They seem to be on the rebound. I'm not saying they are going to go from Worst to First, but I certainly do remember the days when CO had finally managed to turn itself around (late 90s), when public perception of them was still that of a suck airline (based on their mid-90s ).

Really? The selection of concerts in the NY area is nil. At first I thought I was searching incorrectly. Then I realized that there simply were no events. I'd say 70% of the cities have no events. The rest are in NC, FL, and AL.

Their stock price has been doing well too. I bought CO at 9.50 and sold Dec 12 calls for 2.50 a few weeks ago. Yes, I am kicking myself for selling the calls now.
