Happy Anniversary to Me

23 years ago I began my career at Continental Airlines in Honolulu. I have also worked in DCA and currently I'm at SFO. It's been quite a ride and one that I have totally enjoyed.

And what a great way to raise cash. They can play way more games with the accounting for miles than they can with their phony pension funding assumptions. And the latter are real; lots of the miles never become real.

I really, *really* have to get out of here now.

The usual suspects aren't priced too bad. Also, IIRC, I saw similar fares on Expedia for combos of Belavia/CSA, KD Avia/CSA, and Transaero/Aerosvit

Don't worry about it. I'm only there for 2 night and it is during the week when I'm sure most everyone would just as soon be home after work.

Churn, baby, churn. It is our duty to support the airlines by forcing the CC companies to buy more miles to give us as promo bonuses, thereby ensuring that we can redeem the miles at favorable rates for premium cabin travel. ;)
