Ugh. I can't get cooled off. This weather is just nasty, nasty, nasty. I'm ready to retreat to a place where the hottest it ever gets is around 78° and the humidity never goes over 50%. Why the Hell did people ever think living on the Gulf Coast was a good idea? :confused:

I'm missing stepping off the plane in Detroit on Friday, and Denver on Monday, to temps below 60°. This is ridiculous. Air conditioning in the hotel is struggling to keep up with the blazing sun outside, which is on my side of the building. If I melt, or spontaneously combust, well, it was nice knowing all of you.

I <3 Amazon. Bought a Kindle 30 days ago (exactly). They announced a price drop. I sent them an e-mail this morning, and by the time I left the office, I had an e-mail back informing me I'd be getting a $40 refund.

no people of walmart was just to snap me out of this funk laughing at people, i got there and all i could think was wow these people are just like those posting on Ft today, and went more funky.

now I have to go do something else. maybe feed the animals.

I keep expecting my shack-living, non-bathing, Wal-Mart-shopping aunt to show up on that site. She's a prime candidate and would make a lot of the people already on there look classy and normal.
