My partner is job searching, and we're both hoping his next job is in a place with a cooler climate. He was up for a job in Toronto (which fell through) and I would have been absolutely fine with that. It's October. I want cool temps. Baton Rouge this week has been like a steam bath, and it looks like Houston has been equally bad.

In his defense, at least he has a halfway decent body, unlike most people wearing tight clothing on that site.

I agree, I am looking for a job in the arctic outposts, so I can fly to skiways and race on ice. And I can still be a FTer.

I'd consider this if it paid enough, because I'd need to ensure my employees are taken care of, which if I wasn't paid well would be a problem.

It's trivial to deal with that. Amazon's book format is the standard Mobipocket with the standard Mobipocket DRM. Here's how to make the books forever* yours, EULAs be damned:

1) Use a script called KindlePID.py to convert your Kindle's serial # to a Mobipocket PID (which can also be used legitimately to buy eBooks from other online sellers who offer the Mobipocket format)
2) Use another script called MobiDeDRM.py and the PID from step #1 to convert the Kindle book into a non-encrypted eBook which is still Kindle-compatible.
3) Put the de-DRMed file back on the Kindle, or read it on any other device of your choice. Amazon can't get at it that way.

*or until you can't find a Mobipocket-capable device or converter
