I should have taken my Wal-Mart $5.00 chair pad along. I used it for HKG. ;)

 conference over. 3 more meetings before I exodus YYZ (tomorrow). :-:

Does anyone know if I can get into the KL lounge in YYZ tomorrow as a STE+ on a CO ticket back to EWR?

ETA: I'm guessing my PClub membership isn't worth  there.

I may have to look into something that serves as a chair pad as well as another role when traveling.

Nope...different terminal. You pre-clear US immigration at YYZ so you're basically in the USA at that point. No CO lounge access.

Poo.

I was astonished to learn at lunch today that Canadian bacon is actually called peameal amongst the natives. The only thing I have left to do on this trip is to go to a strip club to find out if the dancers wear change belts. @:-)

Loonies. Toonies and .

Hooray, TiVo agent finally on the line after 27 minutes and change of holding.

I really need to get some of those. I have only seen one in real life, and that was at the MR seminar last weekend. I have yet to meet someone in the airport or on a flight who sports an FT luggage tag.

I have been spotted several times with mine

After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, cancellation is complete. The new DVR is mostly set up and ready to go; a few shows aren't on its schedule yet so I haven't been able to set up recording instructions quite yet. All this and now it's only 15 minutes until the first of two interviews today and tomorrow. Good times. ^

Teh Aero Canadia Maple Syrup lounge at YYZ is nice.

You should tell them that you will be half-Canadian soon, and see if they let you in. :-:

Fortunately, I realized the instructions provided with mine were very poor, so I intuited the missing steps along the way ...

I'm thinking of switching from Charter to my local electric company, which provides 10 MB internet for $34.95 per month ...

There was a big stink about BPL in ham radio circles a few years back. On several licensed ham bands, harmonics from BPL transmissions made those bands almost unusable. I think this was mitigated some by better antenna engineering and simply not being so close to power lines, but I haven't heard much uproar in the last couple of years.
