Oh, and for those who did not catch this on Benet Wilson's Twitter:

Can you name the airline that lives in these cities in 10 minutes?

There is one by the airport but I wouldnt even consider it.

The only reason Im asking is because that hotel is way out of the way IMO, I looked at the address.

Good morning Box.

The Westin Minneapolis is trying to charge me $87.92 for things I supposedly took out of the minibar. That's funny seeing as how I didn't even get a key to the minibar. :-:

I've noticed SPG is really, really bad about stuff like this. I've had times I've pulled something from the minibar and have never been charged, and times when random charges have appeared when I didn't even have a key to the thing. It's worse at Ws, where there's not a key on the minibar, and the stuff is just sitting out.

You missed the good one at the time - CO filed a HSV-ANC H fare (think B nowadays) for $140ish+.

150% EQMs plus the fact they were flying 752 on the n/s between IAH and ANC with J seats made for a few very pleasant run to Plat. :)

I heard you didn't even have to fly that one to get the EQMs.

40/46 - I'm a little weak on my Chinese and South American airlines.

Yeah, I've been hit by this a few times. The manager called a few hours later to apologize and let me know that the charge had been credited to my AMEX.

It's likely to be in the same hanger as yesterdays event. If they can schedule the plane to be in EWR during as a planned down period after a TATL run then it's possible. Larry seemed to really get that bird in the air ASAP as it was costing them money being out of commisssion. They bussed all attendees to yestderday's event so no gate crashing

And they are finally giving up PHL-PEK.

Anyone else think US giving up on LAS will embolden WN to go after CLT?

Aerolineas wouldn't take because I didn't have the accent over the eye

Other than that, I missed just RyanAir (go figure).

Funny you should crack that joke. The US press release thread just got its first hint of speculation of a CO/US merge.

That is backwards - Doug would try to acquire CO (profitability be darned).

Greetings Box from 30,000 feet above the Earth as we I head from CLT to DFW! A picture perfect day for flight so far! No, I don't think so. CLT is the last US Air true strong-hold. If CLT were broken, IHMO, that would be US's end. Nope, I don't think that WN sees the value in it. YMMV
