I looked up PClub access to the PDX BR and thought it was open to PClub members, but not on the CO site....do you know?
Oh, and OT- but this A/C just touched down... http://www.aeronewsak.com/NWA-Cargo_Stapleton.jpg [Not my photo... no snow on the ground yet either] Sad they won't be up here much longer... :( Other cargo birds 'chillin' on the tarmac include 3 KE 747's, a CX 747 just landed and there's even a 5Y (to be fair... I had to look that one up too :o) |

That was my assumption as well. It's kind of interesting considering DL made the move after WN announced that they were starting service out of LGA. DL probably assumed that US would either go under or sell off their LGA slots to raise some cash. Either move would have probably let WN expand some more in the NYC market.
Bottom line: DL seems to be really scared of their current (CO) and any future NYC competition! Even now, they announce routes from JFK and they get canelled even before they ever fly. DL also has a history of jumping into markets and calling them hubs and then withdrawing and the going back and doing it again. (Exhibit B: LAX). I also suspect AF has something to do with DL's push in the NYC market. I'm sure AF got a lot of traffic from CO to go beyond CDG. What surprises me is that UA/CO and Star didn't stop US from doing this. I'm sure this will blow up in DL's face somehow and I will sit there and laugh. With them claiming LGA will be a domestic hub, what happens to all the domestic flights at JFK and their slots? |

That's what was announced at the MVPG Lunch in October... that ANC and PDX would be usable by CO PC members... But odd that its not posted on co.com...

Can you name the airline that lives in these cities in 10 minutes? My hemisherophobia hurt me. |

I tried to find the BD Status Match thread from earlier this week but couldn't. Could someone please post the contact to get the status match please.
You might be better off doing the DL auto-match and then matching to BD. |
