I actually had Stats Matched to NWA before they were DL to get a free match and just sent BMI that info. We shall see what they say.

I wish CO would have keep AS BRs as partners but atleast they kept a few places. Perhaps CO will want to get more in the future as they find out how crowded their lounges will be under the new alliance.

Write to CO... express your disappointment and disgust... as they are the ones trying to keep you away from soup ;)

Not to LGA.

Forgot about that... well one could have hopped to TSS & take a car  (not sure that would save any time)

You Asked: Do you still have feelings for Delta?
Alex: Continental ended its participation in the SkyTeam Alliance on Oct. 24, 2009. Please see this page for information on former alliance partners.
Someone is avoiding the question...

Im taking the wife in July but just for one night (I dont want to spoil her) then we are off to Paris and Barcelona. I have booked the Hilton Diagonal Mar in BCN but am not sure what I should do in London and Paris. By that time I will drop to HH-Gold but will still have SPG-Plat and plenty of points in each to burn (but would prefer to use as little as possible). Where would you stay in CDG (2 nights) and LHR (1 night)?

I've done a couple of Hiltons in London. My favorite of those, in terms of newness and quality of the hotel, is the Hilton Canary Wharf. I've had nothing but excellent stays there; it's a very new property with a nice lounge and the executive level rooms are great. It's also super convenient to transit, with a DLR station next door. The downside is that the Canary Wharf area isn't that close to the touristy things you'll probably want to do. It's not a horrible trip to get to the central part of London on transit from there, but it does take a little time (25-30 minutes).

I believe the DoubleTree is near the Marriott that fozz referred to.

Time to make dinner. I think tonight will be pork loin with mashed new potatoes and garlic green beans.

BBQ chicken breast with long grain rice and veggies here.

I still don't get the Aer Lingus deal with UA. Odd, very odd. Then again, do they have Guinness on board? @:-)

Is it wrong that last week I wasn't into Twitter, and 30 seconds ago I found myself wishing that I could Tweet my pizza order to the pizza guy??

I hate cloth seats in F and that stupid headrest is in the worst possible position. Even when it is pushed up, it's just not comfortable.

The UA F headrest, when lowered, is awful. Once it is raised, I love it, as it has a lot of flexibility in how it is positioned. But in the lowered position it hits me in the middle of the back, and is really uncomfortable.

UA is installing leather seat covers on some domestic aircraft as they refurbish them.

ssullivan has the same problem with the headrest. It's perfectly positioned for me. Whatever person they used to model the seat around must have been similar in proportions to me.

I'm fine with it once it's raised. Fortunately I haven't had a UA FA recently that was really pushy about it being fully lowered for takeoff and landing.

I'm bored. I wish I was in the city watching the game tonight.

My OnePass balance is below 100K points for the first time in years.

CO only charged me 120K points for a C/F mix to Egypt. I'm pretty sure that is 10K light (C=115K, F=30K additional, so the combo should be 130K) but I'm not going to say anything until after my trip. :p

Sitting at the Admiral's Club in Concourse A at DFW waiting for my flight to LAS. The AC's while not offering free booze:rolleyes::td:, are generally staffed with really helpful folk, and the showers at DFW are huge when coming in on a red eye from the West Coast prior to flying home to CLT (and usually heading to work), or if flying internationally.
