Even now, they announce routes from JFK and they get canelled even before they ever fly. DL also has a history of jumping into markets and calling them hubs and then withdrawing and the going back and doing it again. (Exhibit B: LAX). I also suspect AF has something to do with DL's push in the NYC market. I'm sure AF got a lot of traffic from CO to go beyond CDG. What surprises me is that UA/CO and Star didn't stop US from doing this. I'm sure this will blow up in DL's face somehow and I will sit there and laugh. With them claiming LGA will be a domestic hub, what happens to all the domestic flights at JFK and their slots? I think it's incredibly ironic that the competitor they are most afraid of (CO) built the terminal into which they will be moving at LGA. |

I am not sure that they will match from their new :-: partner
You might be better off doing the DL auto-match and then matching to BD. I actually had Stats Matched to NWA before they were DL to get a free match and just sent BMI that info. We shall see what they say. I wish CO would have keep AS BRs as partners but atleast they kept a few places. Perhaps CO will want to get more in the future as they find out how crowded their lounges will be under the new alliance. |

Just sought further clarification from a BR Concierge, Yes, CO PC members have access to BR's in PDX and ANC. She said it was CO's fault that there weren't more lounges... (which it is- would have liked to seen more for AS BR members to use of CO PC's like AUS )
I am heading out to the light rail now to explore PDX before nightfall. |
CO flights are posting a lot faster now, 24 hours or so!

It took two weeks for me to get the match and then another two weeks to get the Gold kit in the mail. ^^ |

Time to make dinner. I think tonight will be pork loin with mashed new potatoes and garlic green beans.

You know, given the choice (and based on my experiences to date), I think I'd pick US F over UA F.
Give me a meal before boarding and a good book and I'd be plenty happy. |

Really? Even if meals and IFE aren't a factor, UA F still has a lot more space than US F. I've had better leg room in UA E+ than US F, especially if the seat in front of you is reclined.

According to SeatGuru, the pitch in F on both the US and UA 320s is 38". US falls behind a little if you look at their 319/734 (37") and their 321 (36" - although, I'd question this as it didn't really feel that much smaller). To me, the overall pitch difference between UA and US wasn't all that noticable. |
