True, it is the neurotic alumni who have no attachment to reality who are the problem here.

In other Boeing news, I found out that my point of contact at Boeing who was trying to get me the temp gig at McGuire AFB got hired on by the company that beat out Boeing for the contract that was due to expire. The decision to not go with Boeing is under appeal by Boeing. The plot thickens. Seeing as how the contract is for parts and inventory support for a fleet of kinda-Boeing aircraft (KC-10/C-17/KC-135) it just seems the right choice to have Boeing-paid civilians in place. Maybe that's just me.

My mother's friend's husband is a personal injury attorney and ND grad. Both of his sons went to ND. When the oldest son got married, the recessional played in the church was the ND Victory March.

I was very good tonight. I had a Buy One Get One Free coupon for a candy bar to use at WalMArt. Walmart had candy that fit the coupon on sale, I then saw that M&Ms were on sale for $1 vs. $. 50 for the other candy bars, thus I maximized the coupon and got $.50 instead $.25 cents of value.

My nephew is applying to ND -- we'll see what happens!

It is amazing the ties that bind us to our schools. The fanaticism rivals that of FT.;)

What would the FT equivalent be? Someone from the UA Forum leaving the church to Rhapsody in Blue? :p

I'm applying to Rowan. It's my A, B and C school. No safety net choice.

The Catholic Church has been called much worse by much more influential people.

Sad but true; if I don't get in it's back to square one. I figure a recommendation from former faculty there (in the department I'm applying to, no less) will go a long way, and that was secured over the weekend.
