I am amazed at the culinary aptitude of the Penalty Box, Mussels/Scallops in wine sauce, steak and eggs, etc. I have known for some time that xyzzy and the Fabulous Mrs. xyzzy are amazing cooks, but I was totally unaware that so many others are as well.
I must admit that I eat out 7 nights a week, but that has more to do with the fact that I have put myself in the hospital in the past when I have attempted to cook for myself (salmonella is not fun :( ). I make a steady diet of Sushi and fish with a mixture of other proteins mixed in for good measure. Dan I have another slab of whole ribeye this time bone in, I am thinking to do it for christmas. But occasionally I do go out, like last night a couple plates of this and I was beyond stuffed :D http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2717/...6a3bbcef1e.jpg I was glad to be sharing :) |
I really should do a work out since I can't do it tomorrow and I also need to get cracking at learning this week's four hour long workshop that I’m being paid to do. At least I was talking intelligently about it at the open house on Friday.

On a related note - does anyone have good butternut squash recipes?

Flavored drinks are your friend, as long as they're not red.

I thought that potion was likely the worst thing I've ever tasted (and that covers a lot of ground!), and I couldn't believe they wanted me to drink a gallon of it.
I made a personal decision that, unlike me, most other patients would not follow the directions and would not drink all of it as it was just too nasty. Most people would only drink half of it at most - so that is what I did.

OH, good morning Box!
I need to read these posts about phones, as I need a new one. preferably a smart phone that is not smarter than me (like my current Treo).

Sorry, Brit, but my UK loyalties extend only so far as Scotland. I'm sure you're well-acquainted with their views on the English. :D

The one thing I miss about ATL is the free airport parking. SEA's current system of getting people to the airport is terrible.

Isn't the light rail finally getting connected to the airport station this week? That should help some.

I never paid attention when people talked about their mileage runs, and so I need to ask: when I OLCI tomorrow morning, will I get four BP's or two?
