On a different note -- did you know that Costco sells Hyatt gift certs at 20% off? (was reminded of this on another FT thread). I just picked up 2 - $50 each -- for $80.^ I used my SPG AmEx for the purchase!;) I don't have any Hyatt stays scheduled yet -- but will look into this!;)

I read that this is apparently regional. I also don't have a Costco card or a Costco closer than Nashville - it's about an hour away.

No. The expansion diluted the top six and Leafs could not continue the pattern because their core was getting old and a lot of their depth had ended up in places like St. Louis and Minnesota.

Despite my aspiration to be a professional purveyor of history, hockey history is low on my list. I am much more concerned with preventing Jim Balsillie from having anything to do with the NHL.

Where are you located an hour away from Nashville? In what direction?

Yes, it's a 'relief' for sure! I had to have two -- one year apart -- but it appears to be 'clear' for now!\
I take it that this is your first 'experience'!

Yes, first time ever. Not enjoying the prep!!

The TSA will never cease to amaze me, I am not sure what worries more, the fact that they release SSI or the fact that they(the TSA) are going to change things around to preserve SSI.

I just booked my positioning flight for the MSP-GEG mistake fare. Going w/e of Jan 9th-10th.

Last time I looked positioning fares were all $350+. Just spotted one for $218 on CO. Booked and paid for with travel voucher I acquired from a bump last June.

Hey, I could pick some up for you -- but then I know it really wouldn't be as 'valuable' to you if you are able to utilize a reward-earning credit card!;)

Of course, I am happy to pick some up for you -- if decide that it is a worthwhile 'investment'!:-:;)

At least according to the PDA site, no RetroJet for me. Was hoping I would catch it out of IAH, as PHL is quite the unlikely place for it to be.

One of the directions where an hour can put one at a military installation.

The sad thing is that the last item I shipped with Delivery Confirmation got lost.

Well, the document is not the most current version. Plus this version has been released before, albeit appropriately redacted. The really scary part about this one is that the folks responsible for aviation security can't even figure out how to use Adobe Acrobat.

Appreciate the thought / effort but I don't like where others would have to revise their routine to accommodate me.
