Ooh, I remember that game, my senior year of college, I think, and the last time I actually watched most or all of the Super Bowl.

At least your team has played in the Super Bowl. Mine last played in a proper championship game four years before I was born. !@#$% John Elway.

Was at the NYG game today. It was ^. I'm glad my last game at Giants stadium was one where the :rolleyes:boys lost. :-:

I gave away a couple of games but have held on to the last one v. Carolina. It will be my last chance to see the guys that I have been sitting with since 1976 when they opened the joint. Almost nobody ever gets rid of Giants' season tickets and the faces almost never change (except to get older).

Yeah, I was a freshman at SUNY Geneseo when the NYG played the Bills. Thought the campus might erupt into a mini-riot.;) Having grown up a Bills Fan and having also become a Panthers Fan, the Super Bowl has not been "easy on me.":D

I'm predicting 2 for 4 on Tuesday. Into and out of PHX looks like I'm shut out already; cleared on the late flight home, and 14 seats open on the early morning flight out of PHL.

I love how one of the suggestions for tarp funds was to buy the browns.

What flights are you on?

They can still call that "The Fumble" if they want but the original, and just as dramatic, was when Pisarcik messed up the handoff to Csonka for the Giants in '79.

That sequence was disturbing after a while - the 13 consecutive years of the AFC losing.

Tarp or Stimulus? That would have been a gross waste of money either way.

I liked that one too, although the Browns' problem isn't lack of money (Randy Lerner is no slouch in that department) but rather a combination of bad luck and bad management.

The other thing I liked about that article was the repeated references to Neel Kashkari wearing a Cleveland Browns sweatshirt, as to emphasize his connection with thankless causes. I'm not sure whether the point of the article was to rehabilitate Kashkari or indict Paulson for putting him in a situation where he would be way over his head.
