Sad but true; if I don't get in it's back to square one. I figure a recommendation from former faculty there (in the department I'm applying to, no less) will go a long way, and that was secured over the weekend.

Good one, perhaps someone from the CO Forum leaving a church waiting for an Elite Upgrade Automobile?

The decision to not go with Boeing is under appeal by Boeing. The plot thickens. Seeing as how the contract is for parts and inventory support for a fleet of kinda-Boeing aircraft (KC-10/C-17/KC-135) it just seems the right choice to have Boeing-paid civilians in place. Maybe that's just me.
Cost is king. They usually figure out the right answer later. |

My fiancee and I have decided against a limo. No stretch Lincoln, no Rolls, not even a horse and buggy. We are driving ourselves in an exotic of some sort. Friend of my mother has a Viper I could possibly use, my mentor has a Z06, or worst case there's always an exotic rental shop.

sdm1130's mom could have done it differently. Roll out the carpet when walking to the limo. You've been upgraded from the church to the venue. Your new seat is...
With "LuxuryLiner" decal on the side of the limo. Bridesmaids in red dresses and black boots. The guy from the US Forum has the divorce attorney on speed dial.
