Yes, it was indeed. IIRC, it was only broken when the Broncos took a page from "NFC" style football and played a "small mouth" style to beat the Packers.

Yea, I see a lot of the same faces. I think that it's 15 years for me going to games (via my brother's father-in-law, an original '76er). I guess it will be all new faces next year.

I dunno, but the Giants game is missing relevance. The Giants were going no where so it's not like the game cost them anything. A big play in a championship game is a lot more relevant. :-:

I've been out at that barn in Landover about a half-dozen times but only for Skins-Giants. That is over because I no longer do business with the bank that had a suite nor does my buddy do business with the other company that used to get us in at theirs.

I don't mind sitting in the stands in lots of places but that one is a particularly inhospitable and uncomfortable place. If I don't get a parking card, I do not go there.

Not missing relevance to the nut Giant fans who realize that was the turning point from "fifteen years of lousy football."*

After that season, the league ordered them to hire George Young to run the organization, they listened, and have been competitive ever since.

* That was what the banner read trailing the airplane that some guy hired to fly around and around the Stadium during the last game of the season. The second sentence on that banner was "We've had enough."
