Added some turkey to the soup that will never end.

That sequence was disturbing after a while - the 13 consecutive years of the AFC losing.

In 1999, there was the Dan-O-Meter in the WaPo referring to how close Norv was to being fired by Snyder.

Gee. It doesn't seem that it was nearly ten years ago. With the revolving door for coaches down there, time really flies.

But from IAH I will imagine that there are 25-30 Plats ahead of ConciergeMike. That DEQM thing really pumped things up at CO.

I gave away a couple of games but have held on to the last one v. Carolina. It will be my last chance to see the guys that I have been sitting with since 1976 when they opened the joint. Almost nobody ever gets rid of Giants' season tickets and the faces almost never change (except to get older).

They can still call that "The Fumble" if they want but the original, and just as dramatic, was when Pisarcik messed up the handoff to Csonka for the Giants in '79.

I don't mind sitting in the stands in lots of places but that one is a particularly inhospitable and uncomfortable place. If I don't get a parking card, I do not go there. |

...I dunno, but the Giants game is missing relevance. The Giants were going no where so it's not like the game cost them anything. A big play in a championship game is a lot more relevant. :-:
After that season, the league ordered them to hire George Young to run the organization, they listened, and have been competitive ever since. * That was what the banner read trailing the airplane that some guy hired to fly around and around the Stadium during the last game of the season. The second sentence on that banner was "We've had enough." |
