So when FT Lurker and I moved from the IAD-EWR-SFO flights yesterday I lost the chance to experience my first flight on the Direct TV plane. As of now, I am scheduled to fly the bird from IAH-SAT tomorrow. I guess I will get to the gate early and preboard!! At least I get it for free!!

All kinds of multi-tasking at the moment. I'm about to open the bottle of old vine, do finance stuff, contribute to the Box, work on writing, etc.

I had a bad case of the screwits (unemployment, self-doubt, self-hate, and abject lack of self-confidence will do that to someone) during EOFT 1; instructor was kind enough to Incomplete me and I am getting the material done now.

That's the right attitude to have.

Need to finish that up and get your credit. Once you're done with class, you are permitted to watch NFL and NHL.

Might be Hunter. He said he flies 400,000+ miles a year, all pleasure and is SFO-based. Nice guy.

Other multitasking includes doing email, iTunes library maintenance, writing to-do lists.

400k+ and all leisure? Sounds like 2029 to me.

Lesson 1 was on time, and it went downhill from there. 2 and 4 are done, 3 has been pulled from the website while the others have not () and I just started 5. After 5, in the absence of being a working teacher (original assignment was to run an in-class simulation), I get to do an analysis of someone else's long-term project.

Ben as we all know is a UA fanboy and is in TPA.

Mike and Matt are IIRC both West Coast-based and both AA people. I always confuse the two unless I hear their voices, because one always sounded very ominous to me.

Hunter is SFO-based and a loooooooooongtime DL convert.

This is all from memory, so if any of it is wrong, mea culpa...I stuck to my guns and have refused to listen since the guys bashed travel agents and claimed that they could do it better themselves. fozz was kind enough to apologize during the DC Do, and I accepted while he (correctly) noted that he stayed quiet during the sequence that bothered me.

Lessons offline might be in the process of being updated - exercises are refined over time. About to change over from netbook to laptop.

On the megabus back to nyc now. Feeling better now and my lost gate-checked bag has been located..

Where did they find the bag? Anything missing?

It's supposed to be delivered to my apt around 7 this evening.

The guy we met at the SkyTeam USA lounge last night was named Gene: http://upgrd.com/upgrd/upgrd-46-425k-club.html.
